This is purely my own opinion and I'm sharing this because it shaped my holiday in a different way, not because I get anything out of it!
I would recommend this Airbnb to anybody looking to see a more relaxed side of Japan and escape the city for a couple of days.
The hosts on this property offer free transport to all tourist spots in the area as well as pick up and drop off from Komoro Station.
For a real homelike feel and authentic experience this homestay would be my number 1 choice and I can't wait to come back again one day!

小諸城は武田信玄が築城した城ですが、戦に使われたのは後に徳川秀忠が上田城の真田攻めの際に本陣を置いています、
その後江戸時代に現在の石垣が整備されたようですが、明治になり他の城同様に寂れていますが、現在は公園となり城跡も保護されています
