Ngee Ann City is a shopping and commercial centre located on Orchard Road, Singapore. The S$520 million building was officially opened on 21 September 1993. Many Singaporeans refer to Ngee Ann City as Taka, a slang-abbreviation of the anchor tenant's name, Takashimaya.

Ngee Ann City has two office towers, Tower A and B which are both 26 storeys high. Among its many shops are the Takashimaya department store and Kinokuniya, the second-largest bookstore in Southeast Asia.

The Civic Plaza is where roadshows, concerts, functions, performances are held. There is a fountain at the front of the Civic Plaza facing Orchard Road. The building is connected by underpasses to Wisma Atria, ION Orchard, Wheelock Place, Isetan and Lucky Plaza.

The two towers of Ngee Ann City were intended by the designer to symbolise Chinese door gods, representing strength, generosity and unity. Tenants in the office tower include Takashimaya Singapore, Books Kinokuniya, Metro department store, Ngee Ann Development, some private office tenants and a medical floor on Level 8 of Tower B.

ION Orchard (pronounced as I-On) is a shopping mall in Singapore. It is the retail component of integrated retail and residential development. It started operating on 21 July 2009, occupying 335 food and retail outlets. In December 2016, Forbes recognized ION Orchard as one of the top shopping malls in Singapore.

With a lettable area of almost 660 000 sq ft, around 400 retail outlets are currently located at ION Orchard. There is a food court present at ION Orchard known as the Food Opera.

Ngee Ann City (simplified Chinese: 义安城; traditional Chinese: 義安城) is a shopping and commercial centre located on Orchard Road, Singapore.
