KIC General Meeting 2013
Japan Journal presents the annual General Meeting (Sokai) for the Board of Directors and members of the NPO Kakegawa International Center (KIC). We have just completed yet another great year of support activities for the foreign residents of the city from Brazil, China, Philippines, Peru, Korea and many other countries. KIC administers Japanese language lessons on Sunday afternoons throughout the year and conducts international exchange events for the local residents education and cultural enrichment. We also manage the Sister City relationship between kakegawa and her two Sister cities, Corning, New York and Eugene, Oregon. Brother Mal is one 12 Directors on the Board and the only foreign member of the board of directors. After our meeting we enjoy homemade Soba buckwheat noodles. Delicious and Awesome! The meeting was held at the newly reformed Take no Maru estate which is a historical landmark site in Kakegawa City which dates back hundreds of years.

掛川・竹の丸の近くを散歩してきました。きれいな花や不思議なもの、可愛いハトなど、気になったものを写真で撮ってきました。
