Pictorial - The Old Talbott Tavern by ParaHunt
We hope you enjoy this pictorial of The Old Talbott Tavern. ParaHunt stopped by to spend the night in the 1779 General's Quarters in the Bourbon capital of the world, Bardstown, Kentucky. (This tavern was once owned by Jim Beam's brother.)
Since the late 1700s, the Old Talbott Tavern on Court Square has hosted such historical figures as Abraham Lincoln, Gen. George Rogers Clark, Daniel Boone, and exiled French King Louis Phillipe and his entourage. Jesse James was a frequent visitor to Bardstown.

Scary Stories! The Ghost Of Jesse James
We went to the Talbott Tavern in Bardstown Kentucky it was built in the 1700s and is haunted! located in the heart of downtown Bardstown it has always been a place for food and travelers. Some of the guest that had stayed in this inn was young Abraham Lincoln and his family, Daniel Boone & the exiled King Louis Phillipe. We had a chance to visit some of these rooms. In one room there were bullet holes in the tavern wall from were Jesse James shot his gun inside the room. People say there is alot of paranormal activity that goes on inside these walls reports of funiture moving, shadows walking around the tavern and music and be heard playing. One of the employee at the tavern states she has seen a lady walk thru the dinning room area dressed in a 1800s white style dress. Kinda of spooky huh! So we set out on this ghost walk to see what we could see and hear just the thought of this tavern being haunted gives me chills up my back!
