A visit to the Talisman Gallery and Woodfired Pizza Cafe is always a wonderful experience. From the moment you walk in to the gallery and are surrounded by all the beautiful mirrors and other metal art created by resident artist Ron Fitzpatrick you know you are in a place like no other.
But there's something else playing on the senses here.
Your eyes want to keep taking in the fabulous range of silver jewellery that's also on display but your nose keeps pulling you towards the lovely aromas that keep wafting from the cafe. You want to keep looking at all the crazy clock designs and small bronze statues but the kids are starting to say I'm hungry mum.
Could those pizzas really be as good as they smell?
Apparently so, according to the numerous people that come up and say that's the best pizza i've ever had, we'll be back. What most people then do is go and eat and come back later.By then they've had time to relax, take in the stunning view of the Hartley valley and have one of our famous pizzas.
If its a family the kids have probably gone out to the verandah and thrown the ball for the dogs (poor old sweetie, she can never get enough people to throw the ball for her) or had a nice gelato ice cream.
After your pizza you might have gone the whole way and indulged in one of our delicious home made tiramisus. (There is no such thing as sharing when it comes to these.)
Either way you can now relax and have a good look around the gallery, and the kids are happy.
