A massive highlight of my trip to Japan was Kinokawa, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan to meet the new station master! Tama has passed away, but her legacy is still everywhere. There is a new Super Station Master named Nitama. I got to meet her, have adorable food and drinks from the cafe, and rode on their CUSTOM CAT TRAIN!

KINOKAWA, Wakayama -- Some 3,000 mourners gathered for a funeral held on June 28 for the popular stationmaster cat Tama at Kishi Station, according to an announcement from station owner Wakayama Electric Railway Co.
