South Africa, the African continent and the international community at large will this year, 2017 celebrate and honour the struggle stalwart, late former President of the ANC, Oliver Reginald Tambo.
i. The theme adopted for the 99th Anniversary Wreath Laying Ceremony at the grave of Oliver and Adelaide Tambo at the Tamboville Cemetery, Wattville, and Ekurhuleni on 27 October 2016 is: “Celebrating the life, times and legacy of OR Tambo, 99 years and counting towards the centenary.”
ii. The theme for this year speaks to life and times of OR Tambo, the role he played in the overall liberation struggle of South Africa.
