Our selection includes Moomin books written and illustrated by Tove Jansson, Tampere-themed products and classic Finnish brands such as Iittala, Finlayson and Marimekko. There are also unique, handmade crafts by Finnish designers as well as products and recordings of Tampere Filharmonia, Tampere Hall resident orchestra. We sell stamps, and you also get the Moomin Museum’s own postmark for your Moomin postcards.

Our shop focuses on selling high-quality products that support the Moomin Museum exhibition and on promoting Tampere Hall’s high standard of service. Moomin books written by Tove Jansson and biographies of the author play an important role. The Moomin products on sale in our shop are made exclusively for the Moomin Museum and are not available anywhere else.

- See Tammerskoski rapid. Climb to the Pyynikki Observation Tower.
- Särkänniemi Amusement park and Näsinneula Observation Tower are also fun place to visit!
- There are many interesting museums (art, video game, spy, moomin, ice hockey etc.) in Tampere!
- Don't forget to taste black sausage (mustamakkara) in Tammelantori square!

HOW TO GET THERE?
Tampere locates about 160 km distance from Helsinki to the up north.
From Helsinki Central Railway Station you will get there easily with train and it takes only about two hour.
You can get there also by bus and they start at Kamppi Center which locates about 400 meter to the west from the Helsinki Central Railway Station.

World’s largest hotel chain Marriott International arrives in Finland and opens its first hotel in Tampere.

At the end of 2019, the Marriott International hotel chain will open its first hotel in Finland in connection with Tampere Hall. The hotel to be built in Tampere is part of the Courtyard by Marriott hotel brand, which is directed at modern business travellers and families.
