Taipei, Taiwan Full MRT Metro Ride on Orange (Zhonghe–Xinlu) Line 台北捷運中和新蘆線︱(橘線)︱迴龍→南勢角
The Zhonghe–Xinlu or Orange line (code O) is a metro line in Taipei operated by Taipei Metro, named after the districts it connects: Zhonghe, Xinzhuang and Luzhou. The line starts at Nanshijiao in Zhonghe, passes through central Taipei, then splits into two branches: one to Huilong in Xinzhuang, and one to Luzhou.
The southern section between Nanshijiao and Guting opened in 1998. Due to heavy traffic for residents in the districts of Luzhou and Sanchong travelling in and out of central Taipei, a metro line was planned to meet this urgent need. The line would eventually consist of two branches which connects to Guting via central Taipei. The extension fully opened in 2012.
中和新蘆線（路線編碼為O，路線代表色為橘色），是台北捷運營運中的路線。依興建期間與階段營運所使用的路線名稱，分為中和線、新莊線、蘆洲線，以古亭站及大橋頭站為分界，古亭站以南為中和線，以北為新莊線，於大橋頭站以Y字分歧後，往北偏為蘆洲線，往南偏續為新莊線。因為本路線營運路段有分叉路段，因此台北捷運公司將蘆洲線和新莊線合併簡稱為「新蘆線」作為路線正式稱呼，新蘆線與中和線銜接運行後，捷運站內將名稱全面標示為中和新蘆線用以稱呼橘線。考量到中和新蘆線的名稱已經廣為使用並為民眾所熟悉，因此在後續新的命名計畫中繼續沿用。
2016年10月新版路線編號作業，以「路線顏色英文字首」為編碼原則，原4號線調整為編號「O」。
中和新蘆線是目前臺北捷運唯一起訖站皆在新北市的路線，本線所經之新北市三重、新莊、蘆洲、永和、中和五區，人口合計約164萬，是台北捷運目前路線中，行經最多新北市行政區的一條。

Xindian River Profile( 新店溪簡介)
Meandering down from the Xueshan Mountain Range, it brings with it the covenant entered into with this land at the dawn of time. She -- flows down continuously through the mountains and over the peaks. She -- uses clear notes and the songs of nature. She -- uses joyful steps and dances with human civilization. She -- irrigating and nurturing, gave birth to the civilization of the Taipei basin. She -- with a low chant, performed the life story of the Taipei basin. She -- the earth mother of the Taipei basin -- the Xindian River. The Beauty of the Xindian River. Giving birth, hugging the earth, the earth's Milky Way, gracefully pouring, composing the resplendent Taipei basin. The Xindian River is one of the three major waterways in Northern Taiwan's Danshui River system. It's total length is 82 kilometers with a drainage area of approximately 900 square kilometers. She has 2 sources which are the Nanshi River and the Beishi River. The Nanshi River has its source in the Xueshan Mountain Range, with its main source between Qilan mountain and Quantoumu mountain at an elevation of 1,200 meters. It flows north and after reaching Wulai it is fed by the Tonghou River where it continues to flow north. The Nanshi River has a total length of 45 kilometers with fast flowing water and short steep mountains on both banks.
The Beishi River which hugging the mountain region at an elevation of 620 meters has its source in the north most point of the Hsuehshan Mountain Range and flows west from Pinglin. The 50 kilometer long Beishi River is milder than the Nanshih River with abundant curves and smooth fluvial terraces. After the Nanshih River and Beishi River meet at Xindian's Guishan to form the Xindian River the river water forms a 12.8 kilometer meander through the three locations of Guishan, Quchi, and Guangxing with well developed river terraces along the banks and gently rolling land. The Xindian River continues North, en route it is joined by the Pingguang River and the Qingtan River, upon reaching Bitan, the Xindian stream says goodbye to mountain barriers and the majestically handsome mountainous terrain. From here the watercourse becomes flat and open as it is joined by the winding Ankeng River coming from Shiging and the Jingmei River from Mushan.
After moving past Gongguan, the Xindian River becomes the boundaries of Taipei City and New Taipei City districts such as Yonghe, Zhonghe, and Banqiao, then it continues on to Jiangzicui where it meets the Takoham River forming the Danshui River.

and make a good traffic among Tamsui, Bali, Guandu,
Beitou, etc. The bright, red arch looks like a rainbow
across the sky. Visitors may enjoy the Riverside Walk
or Bike Riding along the path and see beautiful scenery.
