Places to see in ( Daytona Beach - USA )
Daytona Beach is a city on Florida’s Atlantic coast. It’s known for Daytona International Speedway, which hosts February’s iconic Daytona 500 NASCAR race. The beach has hard-packed sand where driving is permitted in designated areas. Near the boardwalk’s rides and arcades, Daytona Beach Bandshell stages free summer concerts. Steps from the beach, Daytona Lagoon water park offers go-karts, laser tag and waterslides.
Daytona Beach, famous as the World Center of Racing and home of NASCAR, is part of the East Central Florida greater metropolitan area. Daytona Beach is the best known of the seven area communities. Although the wide 23-mile (37km) stretch of white sandy beach is still the biggest attraction here, with over 8 million visitors flocking to the area every year, the metro area is rapidly changing from event Mecca to family oriented resort destination. Historical sites like the Main Street Pier, the Oceanfront Boardwalk and the Clocktower in Oceanfront Park add to the appeal of this exciting city.
Daytona Beach hosts large groups of out-of-towners that descend upon the city for various events, notably Speedweeks in early February when over 200,000 NASCAR fans come to attend the season-opening Daytona 500. Other events include the NASCAR Coke Zero Sugar 400 race in July, Bike Week in early March, Biketoberfest in late October, and the 24 Hours of Daytona endurance race in January.
The city of Daytona Beach is split in two by the Halifax River lagoon, part of the Intracoastal Waterway, and sits on the Atlantic Ocean. It is bordered on the north by Holly Hill and Ormond Beach and on the south by Daytona Beach Shores, South Daytona and Port Orange.
The Museum of Arts and Sciences is the primary cultural facility for Daytona Beach and Volusia County. Other museums located in the city include the Southeast Museum of Photography and the Halifax Historical Museum. The Museum of Arts and Sciences is actually a collection of museums and galleries and includes the Klancke Environmental Complex, the Cuban Museum, Root Family Museum featuring one of the largest Coca-Cola collections in the world, the Dow American Gallery and the Bouchelle Center for Decorative Arts which together form what is probably one of the finest collections of furniture and decorative arts in the Southeast. There are also changing exhibitions and a children's science center opened in 2008. Since 1952, the non-profit Daytona Beach Symphony Society has sponsored performances by U.S. and international orchestras, opera and dance companies each season at the Peabody Auditorium.

My City: Daytona Beach Florida
I am born and raised in Daytona Beach Florida. I have lived on the beach and in the heart of all the Nascar, Biker and Spring Break events that happen year round in this wild city.
To get away from the hustle and bustle of this busy city I drive about 15 minutes down A1A to a hotel called Coral Sands. Its a beautiful and quiet hotel with not alot of foot traffic.
Another hotel I like to go to for tanning and lounging, I go to the new Hard Rock Hotel that just opened up earlier this year and enjoy an a nice refreshing drink from the outside bar and vibe to the live DJ thats playing great tunes.
Theres alot more to this city than the beach and Nascar and I will continue to make videos and show you guys how great this city really is!
Stay tuned! Biketober fest is coming up in October and things get WILD!!
Thank you guys for watching!

Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. (NYSE: SKT) is a real estate company that owns the chain Tanger Outlets, an outlet mall company headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The company derives its name from founder Stanley Tanger who opened the Burlington Manufacturer's Outlet Center (BMOC) in Burlington, North Carolina, in 1981.[2] As of 2011, the company has 35 centers in 24 states.[2]
The company operates as a REIT. In June 1993 it became the first publicly traded outlet company when it was listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
As of December 31, 2006, Tanger's 30 centers represented a gross leasable area (GLA) of approximately 8,400,000 square feet (780,000 m2) and consisted of more than 1,800 stores, representing about 380 store brands.[3] According to its website it had 150 million shoppers in 2006.[4]
On January 24, 2011, it announced a $1 billion partnership with Canadian-based RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust to open up to 15 outlet locations in Canada within 7 years. It secured its first location in the Greater Toronto Area of Milton, Ontario at the Highway 401 and James Snow Parkway interchange to be ready for an April 2013 opening. Another planned location would be near the Canadian Tire Centre and Highway 417 in the western edge of Ottawa.
In November 2012, Tanger announced it will join Simon Property Group in constructing a new 400,000 sq. ft. center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Tenants in its centers include Liz Claiborne, Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Polo Ralph Lauren, Reebok, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Eddie Bauer, Brooks Brothers and Nike.

Daytona Beach is a city in Volusia County, Florida, United States. It lies about 51 miles (82.1 km) northeast of Orlando, 86 miles (138.4 km) southeast of Jacksonville, and 242 miles (389.5 km) northwest of Miami. In the 2010 U.S. Census, it had a population of 61,005. It is a principal city of the Deltona–Daytona Beach–Ormond Beach, FL metropolitan statistical area, which was home to 590,289 people in 2010. Daytona Beach is also a principal city of the Fun Coast region of Florida.
The city is historically known for its beach where the hard-packed sand allows motorized vehicles to drive on the beach in restricted areas. This hard-packed sand made Daytona Beach a mecca for motorsports, and the old Daytona Beach Road Course hosted races for over 50 years. This was replaced in 1959 by Daytona International Speedway. The city is also the headquarters for NASCAR.
