Sambung Shopping: Ep13 Zati Iqa Di Amerika - Corelle Outlet (Siri 1)
Ianya menjual barang2 seperti Corelle, Rue21, Reebok, Claire's, Old Navy, Carter's, Timberland, Van Heusen, Oshkosh dan sebagainya.
Lama jugak kami spent time kat dalam outlet Corelle ni.

The 4D Story ...
Not all of us can run ...
... do you ever think of those that can't run? We too often take our ability to run for granted.
My friend Dee Gerber has Muscular Dystrophy (MD) and has been very supportive of my running. Sometime during the week of June 17 she asked me if I had a race during the upcoming weekend and I confirmed that I did.
She asked if I could do her a favor. She asked me to think about her and of those that can't run when I hit the 1-mile mark on that weekend's 5K.My initial response to her was that I would make a point to think of those that can't run every time I hit a mile during a race.
As I thought about this request all week, I thought about how fortunate I was to be able to run. I thought about how running is not an option for all of us. I decided to make a little pin that simply read 4D—as in I am running For Dee since she can't. This was first 'pin' was literally just the 2 characters 4 D printed out on paper from my at-home-printer and stuck on my jersey with bobby pins just like our race bibs.
That race was the first 5K I entered that had a hill in it—a rather huge hill. We had to do 2 laps and by the time I reached the top of the first lap, I was thinking these people are crazy. Why would you have a hill in a 5K. I had ignorantly assumed that 5K races were always flat course. I wasn't sure I had it in me to do a second lap and realized I had no reason to. Why put myself through this type of misery and pain? I can just stop running.
Then I remembered that I had the 4D on my shirt. Who was I to question a second lap when so many don't even have the option of attempting the first one? So I pressed on with new inspiration. I would have quit that race if it wasn't for Dee Gerber.
The following weekend I ran my first out-of-state 5K in the Bronx, NYC. About an hour before the race I realized I forgot my 4D sheets of paper so I scrambled—or rather scribbled—4D onto a fast-food napkin and stuck it on my jersey.
After two races of wearing 4D, I started thinking more about what it means and I decided that it can also be running 4D (as in an abbreviated For Dystrophy). Although Dee was the original inspiration for the idea, I think 4D could be worn by runners to signify their support of anyone that can't run for whatever reason.
Deciding my commitment to this effort was greater than napkins and printer paper, I opened a CafePress store for 4D merchandise (cafepress.com/4d4d). This is when I decided to create an actual 4D logo with the word DYSTROPHY inside of the letter D. I opened the store so I could purchase a real pin to wear. The CafePress site automatically creates a store with all sorts of merchandise with your logo on it.
Within a day of sharing the link to the store online , I got questions from bikers, hikers and swimmers about their willingness to support. So the next day I opened cafepress.com/4d4dswim, cafepress.com/4d4dhike, and cafepress.com/4d4dbike. The initial profits from the stores will be used to purchase pins to hand out to runners. If the stores are financially successful, the profits will be donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).
I also decided that I was going to run a 5K in all 50 states to share the message, or at the very least, carry the pin onward. Knowing this was an awesome task, I originally set realistic goals of being a weekend warrior and hitting states as the race schedules made it convenient.
With the popularity of 5K racing, I realized that it was actually easy to string a few states together in one weekend. This really inspired me and gave me a new challenge of running multiple races in a short time span. As I built a race schedule to finish out 2013 I began to realize that I might actually have 27 states, D.C. and Jamaica (twice) done by Jan. 1, 2014. That is over half of the country in the first 6 months.
This in turn inspired a very unrealistic goal of running a 5K in all 50 states ... in 1 year. Or is it unrealistic?
I will let you know on July 1, 2014.

Happiest 5k on the Planet!
WJAR coverage on the 14th annual KDMF 5K race/walk & family fun day
With the sun shining down runners and walkers enjoyed the 5K, helping to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and distracted driving and keep Katie's life shining brightly.
The June 9th half-day event is a celebration of the life of Katie DeCubellis. In October of 1999 a drunk driver killed the thirteen year old and her best friends mother Marsha Bowman. Since then the KDMF continues to raise awareness about driving under the influence and distracted driving.
Many participants make this their first race of the season and love to gather with old friends. Some running groups have been created at Katie's race. Many supporters such as Ocean State Job Lot have been with us since the first race in 2000 and continue to support our efforts as a corporate sponsor and donor of many items for our raffle, states KDMF Executive Director, John DeCubellis.
This year the top male winner is Joe Siravo originally from North Kingstown who clocked in at 17:29. The top female winner is Diane Senecal of Wakefield who came in at 19:13. This year KDMF is proud to announce our first wheelchair participant John Taylor of East Greenwich.
Nearly four hundred runners and walkers participated, It's the best numbers we've had in quite a while says KDMF Board Member and Race Coordinator Ken Rosbottom. We are grateful to all the runners, walkers, sponsors, vendors and volunteers who turn out year after year, who believe as strongly as we do in the foundation's mission to remind motorists to drive responsibly.
In addition, to a competitive race and walk, the event is family friendly. Attractions included face painting, an inflatable bounce, free Brickley's ice cream, pizza, hot dogs, raffles, and music. Among the raffle prizes an autographed Providence Bruins stick, four P-Bruins game tickets and two P-Bruins hats. Ocean State Job Lot donated more than $1500.00 worth of prizes that KDMF awarded to race winners.
The relatively flat course began at the Narragansett High School. Awards and prizes were given to the first three men and women runners in several age divisions from 10 to 70+ years, as well as a wheelchair division.
To date, The KDMF has awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships, prizes and donations. John and Meg have given presentations in schools and conferences throughout the country, reaching more than 100,000 students and adults. Their message focuses on the choices each of us make every day, and how those choices can and will shape our lives, for better or worse. For more information about The KDMF log onto kdmf.org
NEW Smaller OTIS Gen2 MRL Traction Elevators - Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods (North) - Mashantucket, CT
*As of 11/29/16 (updated again on 8/15/17 to reflect M2), there has been a lot of speculation that the newer Series 7 styled fixtures are really a revision of Series 4. As such, I have updated the information in the description to reflect this. In the description, I still refer to Series 7, as a enthusiast given nickname to the new revision of the fixture lineup.
I'm a little late with this one, but here it is!
Within this new expansion, there's another set of Series 7 (really a revision of Series 4) elevators lurking around. This time around, they're a little smaller, and on the Fox Tower side of the complex. Like the other bank, these were pretty smooth, and fast at the same time. The Series 7 also complements the modern feel of this elevator as well.
Like the Grand Pequot (south) side of the shopping center, there's two elevators within the bank. Why these are smaller than the two on that side, I am not sure. You would think that they would have made them the same size, at least for potential freight transport from the second floor down to the first floor, and vice-versa.
These two elevators happen to be towards the Fox Tower side of the complex, which is more northwards. The elevators here serve the first and second floors of the shopping complex, while the other bank serve the second and third floors. Considering this place is built on a hill, it is on a stepped setup. There is an entrance on the 1st floor, which leads people up to a second floor (which is the main floor as it has the most stores), and finally, leads people up to a 3rd floor. It's a little difficult to explain in text, so I'll give you the link to the directory so you can see.:
LOCATION INFO:
Opened on May 21, 2015, the Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods is the newest part of the ever-expanding Foxwoods casino and resort complex. Although there are various stores already throughout the Foxwoods complex, this is a nice addition with more name-brand shops to choose from. This also marks the second Tanger location in Connecticut, the other is the Westbrook Tanger Outlets. Interestingly enough, I believe this is the NEWEST enclosed mall to open in Connecticut, the most recent before that was Brass Mill Center in 1997.
