How to visit Tangier Morocco in a day from Southern Spain
In today’s video we embark on a quick journey to Morocco! Watch how even experienced travelers manage to miss a boat ride, but still make it across the Gibraltar Strait for a little shopping spree. The girls get some lovely souvenirs from the local markets and Tyler gets...to take photos:)

Morocco Day Trip from Málaga to Tangier, Part One | Tangier, Morocco
On a whim, we booked a day trip to nearby Morocco from our base in Málaga. We took a bus to the Spanish port city of Tarifa and then a ferry over into Moroccan territory. We chose a guided tour because we were both a little dubious about travelling to Africa-- it was the first African country for both of us!
In this video we have lunch -- our first taste of Moroccan food -- take a walk through a souk, and learn about just how multicultural Morocco is.
The tour was a bit of a mixed bag. It was a very long, exhausting day with too many pushy vendors and a very structured itinerary, but there were highlights like the Moroccan lunch, the multilingual tour guides, and a few more things coming in Part 2. In the end, we're glad we did it because we don't think Tangier is a city we'd want to explore on our own. It's not usually our travel style, but in this case we were very happy to have the whole trip planned out for us.
We'd recommend you watch this video and the next to get an idea of how the day trip panned out. If you're still interested after that, this is the specific tour that we went on:

More info about travel to Morocco: Most visitors to Tangier take a tour, daytripping in from Spain for a predictable series of experiences. But wandering through this delightfully disorienting town, at your own pace, is more fun. And to enjoy it with maximum understanding, you can hire a local guide.

DAY TRIP to TANGIER MOROCCO from SPAIN (people are so friendly!) | Tangier (Seville) Travel Vlog #3
A day trip to Tangier, Morocco from Spain is definitely a super fun, interesting and memorable way to spend a day on your trip to Southern Spain. Tangier is a fascination, old but at the same times modern city in Northern Morocco that has an interesting atmosphere and culture with many beautiful streets, markets and sights to explore and walk around. I absolutely love Morocco and the Moroccan people and it is probably one of my favourite travel destinations!
I used to travel to Morocco a lot as a child and I still to this day know many Moroccan people and eat Moroccan food very often. However, I hadn't been to Morocco in a very long time, so during this trip, I wanted to remember Morocco in a way and during this day I definitely felt a very warm welcome and thought I'm back!.
Hope you enjoy this Tangier Travel vlog and that it gives you an idea of what to expect during one of these day trips to Morocco and what to expect from Tangier in general.

Welcome to Tangier, Morocco! We started off our trip visiting the square of the ninth of April, one of the biggest squares in the city. We explored the old medina before stopping to shop for a jalaba and the traditional Moroccan sandals.
Next up we headed to Tangier beach to ride a camel. It cost about 5 euro per person for a 30 minute ride along the beach. If you don't make it down to the Sahara you should definitely try to ride a camel in Tangier.
There is two restaurants I recommend when in Tangier, Riad Tanja and the El Morocco Club. Riad Tanja, has live music every night and serves some delicious moroccan tangines. El Morocco Club serves more of a gourmet fusion Moroccan cuisine mixed with a few other cuisines.
This is Dar Nour Guest House, one of the few properties located in the Kasbah. It's a boutique bed and breakfast, they have 10 rooms and they have 3 terraces on the roof top with a 360 degree view of Tangier.

Tangier, Morocco- Day trip from Spain
Join us as we take a private day trip tour of Tangier Morocco with Karim from Patito Private Tours or Magic Tangier Tours. His excellent knowledge combined with his professionalism made for an excellent day as we toured the Medina, the Kasbah, rode camels and enjoyed the various sites and sounds that Tangier has to offer. Tangier is only a 45 min ferry ride from Tarifa, Spain and definetly worth a day trip to visit and experience.

Morocco Day Trip from Málaga to Tangier, Part Two | Tangier, Morocco
On the second part of our day trip to Tangier, Morocco from Málaga, Spain, we got a little bit carried away engaging in an important Moroccan cultural tradition: bargaining! We were definitely put in our place as we learned from someone whose job it is to bargain. At least we got a rug out of it?
We also went to a pharmacy where they sold some Moroccan herbs and mixtures. They had saffron, blood cumin, Moroccan oil, Argan oil, and a bunch of others that had very interesting uses. After we managed NOT to buy anything, our guide Mohammed took us to the spot on the northern tip of Africa where the Mediterranean Sea met the Atlantic Sea, and stopped at a sandy spot near Tangier Beach to (watch the other tourists) ride some camels. Our last stop in Morocco was Hercules Cave, an archaeological cave system by the sea.
It was a very full day, and we were exhausted by the time we got back home to Málaga. We'd recommend the day trip if what we did piques your interest, but beware that you'll be spending more time travelling and waiting in lines than actually exploring Tangier!

Tangier, Morocco - Day trip from Tarifa, Spain
A video of a day trip to Tangier, Morocco by ferry from Tarifa, Spain showing some of the beautiful sites of the Moroccan city
#Tangier #Morocco #Travel #MorrocoTravel #Танжер #Марокко #Африка #tangier2019 #morocco2019
Tangier is a city in northwestern Morocco. It is on the Maghreb coast at the western entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean off Cape Spartel. The town is the capital of the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, as well as the Tangier-Assilah prefecture of Morocco.
Many civilisations and cultures have influenced the history of Tangier, starting from before the 10th century bce. Between the period of being a strategic Berber town and then a Phoenician trading centre to the independence era around the 1950s, Tangier was a nexus for many cultures. In 1923, it was considered as having international status by foreign colonial powers and became a destination for many European and American diplomats, spies, writers and businessmen.
The city is currently undergoing rapid development and modernisation. Projects include new tourism projects along the bay, a modern business district called Tangier City Centre, a new airport terminal, and a new football stadium. Tangier's economy is also set to benefit greatly from the new Tanger-Med port.

Tarifa and Tangier | Day 5 Busabout Iberian Adventure
(Here is the resynced version of the video)
We made it to AFRICA...ca...ca...ca...
We started our day in Lagos, Portugal with a beautiful sunrise, then on the bus to Tarifa, at the very bottom of Spain. From Tarifa we took the ferry over to Tangier, Morocco and met up with our guide Ali (a.k.a Prince Ali). We saw the views, wealthy suburbs and walked the narrow alleys of the Kasba.
In the middle of our tour we when to a natural chemist where the owner told us all about the benefits of argan oil and other natural health benefits then proceeded to try sell as much of it as possible with an infomercial style technique.
We had an autherntic Moroccan dinner and then checked into our hotel for the night.
Stay tuned for my next video where we head back to Spain and visit Granada (one of my favourite places on our trip)
