Simply: WAUW! Islas de Gigantes is a little paradise! It has some vibes of El Nido and Coron, but it's far less discovered. In this video I'll show you everything :) Featuring a land tour in Gigantes Norte and the island hopping tour in Gigantes Sur.

--WHAT TO SEE IN ISLAS DE GIGANTES--
We did two tours. The tour over land and the island hopping tour.
► Land tour
We’ve mainly seen two places:
- The old lighthouse
- Bakwitan Cave
Both are places you can hang around for a long time! It made up for a good daytrip. NOTE if you want to get all the way through in Bakwitan Cave (it’s quite big) you need to be prepaired. Good shoes and flashlight. There are some narrow passways. Otherwise just do like me and return halfway to the same entrance you entered!
► Island hopping
We arranged this through our resort. It’s one of the highlights of Islas de Gigantes.
Main attractions are around Gigantes Sur (the southern island)
We saw:
- Little Boracay or Mini Boracay or actually Tinagong Dagat. Fine sand and clear blue water
- Antonia beach (great for lunch and snorkeling)
- Salt water lagoon Tangke (fly the drone if you dare! Or swim in the shallow water)
- Cabugao Gamay Island (take a picture and enjoy the view. The most famous spot of the whole tour)
- Sandbar! Last in our tour, and a good way to end! Make sure you walk a bit over the entire island, it’s nice!
--WHERE TO SLEEP IN ISLAS DE GIGANTES--
Most resorts are in Isla de Gigantes Norte. It’s not the fancy resorts, but basic ones with good facilities. You can get food inside as well. There are more luxury resorts popping up. I am curious what this place will look like in a few years time!
► Rosewood resort:
--WHERE TO EAT IN ISLAS DE GIGANTES--
We only ate at one place, in our resort. They had amazing scallops and other seafood! Or bbq pork, you name it. Not expensive and very tasty! NOTE that you have to bring your own lunch if you’re going island hopping!

It's like swimming in a big sink whose water level rises and falls depending on the tides... And the natural landscape surrounding it is pretty spectacular... Breathtakingly beautiful... Thank You, dear LORD!

THE HIDDEN GEM OF THE PHILIPPINES - Isla de Gigantes (GoPro)
[My Travel Montage 001] This is my first travel video. It was taken in Isla de Gigantes/Gigantes Islands, Philippines last Summer 2016.
Isla de Gigantes is an island chain located in the municipality of Carles, Iloilo, Philippines. It consists of 10 islands. Some of the top spots are:
*Cabugao Gamay Island- is a small island. It is probably the most photographed island in Isla de Gigantes because of its unique shape and white sand. It has a picturesque view from above where you can see both sides of the island. The sunrise and the sunset view. It is also a perfect place to do snorkeling/swimming especially on the west side (sunset side) of the island because of its calm water.
*Tangke Lagoon- is a saltwater lagoon located within Gigantes Sur. It is surrounded by breathtaking cliffs and rock formations similar to Coron, Palawan.
*Bantigue Island Sandbar- For me, it's just a mediocre type of sandbar. However, the one that really caught my attention was the sand of the said sandbar. It's thick yet fine and kinda orange sand. It's really unique.
Video footage were captured using GoPro Hero 3 White Edition.
