Tanjay City Boardwalk - DAY 06 - Becoming a MINIMALIST | Project 321

The Tanjay Mangrove Boardwalk in Negros Oriental was a hidden gem we stumbled upon while joyriding along the outskirt roads from Dumaguete. The long and elaborate boardwalk was quite impressive, as it traversed among the mangrove trees and plants, above the shallow waters. You'd feel like you got lost in a manicured paradise, leading to the open seas. Very interesting and visit-worthy.

If you wanted to go there you can either hire a tricylce or a motorcycle from Tanjay City. If you are from the Dumaguete City Airport, just ride a Ceres Bus going to Tanjay or you can just go directly to the Ceres Bus Terminal and just ask which bus will go to Tanjay and from there just ride a Tricycle, that's P100 fare. There's mangrove plantation and cottages. There are cottages 5 meters away from the shore. Bridges are built to get there . White sand and there's also a little hot spring just a few meters from the shore. The good news is, it's currently free. Yes no entrance free.

I call this, my Project 321. Which I will only wear 32 clothes including socks, shorts, pants, belt, watch and etc. for 1 month. I'm doing this to live a simple life, a life with less stress, less worry and by having less means having more. For it is not things that we need to value but our relationships to others, that's what I believe in and if you also believe in that, you can try in a simple way just like this. It's not easy to be a minimalist, it's a great challenge. But nothing is easy if it is worth it. You should eradicate the things that are ones important to you but you doesn't need it anymore, it hurts but you need to let go of those things and give it to the less fortunate people. Like I said, Value relationships not things. LOVE PEOPLE, USE THINGS because THE OPPOSITE DOESN'T WORK!
