Kubinka Tank Museum - German Tanks, Artillery, APC
Short walk through hangar where German tanks, artillery and personnel carriers from WWII era stored at Kubinka Tank Museum in Moscow, Russia.
Video is little bit shaky and my narration is far from god, even comprehensible. But broken English and heavy accent adds just right charm to it.

Tank museum Kubinka Russia
According to international experts, the Museum in Kubinka is the world's best collection of historical technology on several criteria. The Museum houses the largest collection of tanks and armored vehicles of the USSR. The Museum contains the largest collection of military car armored Nazi Germany. The Museum houses the only collection in the world of armored vehicles militarist Japan. Most of the exhibits from these collections is unique, then there exist in the world in a single copy.
The Biggest Super Tank in The World and Other Unique Machines
Today I decided to take a trip up to the Kubinka Tank Museum, part of the Patriot Park Museum Complex in the Moscow Region. There is a rather incredible collection of tanks and other military equipment from all around the world at this Museum, and many of the exhibits can be found nowhere else in the world.
That is exactly the case with the first tank we'll have a look at, the German Panzer VIII Maus, the heaviest fully enclosed armored fighting vehicle ever built. Only two of these behemoths were ever constructed, but they were both hurriedly destroyed during the decisive advance of Soviet forces against the Fascist regime in late WWII Germany. What remained intact of both of Hitlers dream machines was used to put together this surviving Uber-Tank.
Also in this video are:
The Karl-Gerät 040 600mm self propelled siege Mortar, capable of firing 2170 kg shells over a range of 10 km. Only Six of these machines were built and saw combat during World War II, the one on display in Kubinka is nicknamed Adam.
The Alkett VsKfz NK-101 Minenräumer - a giant, heavily armored minesweeper straight out of science fiction novels. This particular unit is the single functional prototype built during WWII.
And the British Mark V tank first deployed in 1918, for many this tank has become irreversibly associated with the dawn of tank warfare in the 20th century, as THE tank that started it all. These machines were an incredibly effective means of psychological warfare on battlefield, and hundreds were built. The Mark V's historic significance warrants including this tank among some of the more interesting exhibits at the Kubinka Tank museum.
There are hundreds of other models on display, including many more unique and powerful tanks, but covering them in one video is hardly possible. I'll probably come back to this museum in a few months time to cover some of the famous Soviet machines that made the victory in WWII possible, and maybe some modern equipment like jet aircraft, helicopters and ICBMs - which are also on display in Kubinka.
Thank you very much for watching, see you soon on another normal day in Russia!
If you enjoyed the video, it would be great if you'd subscribe for more! Also, I'd love to hear your ideas on what you'd like to see me film in Russia, or otherwise!
