2016 Taos BRAWL
Lillian “Sanchito” Wilson took home the coveted Taos BRAWL Belt at the culmination of the fierce (and mostly comedic) competition March 11, 2016 at the KTAOS Solar Center in Taos, New Mexico USA. The event, which was a benefit for Taos Youth Heartline, brought together a bevy of contestants who stepped into the “Arm Pit” for the evening’s arm-wrestling spectacle. The “fierce females” — known by muscular monikers such as “Phyllis Killer,” “Miss Conduct,” “Sweeny Broad,” “Millie Nelson” and former champ “Hurt in a Skirt” — were organized under the “Broads Regional Arm Wrestling League” (BRAWL) banner. Taos Youth Heartline is a child advocacy organization that helps abused, neglected and vulnerable children in the community. Video was shot by Katharine Egli and edited by Rick Romancito of The Taos News.
Dronin' Over Taos
Taos is one of New Mexico's hidden gems, sitting right on the state's border with Colorado and under the mountains. It's home to the residence of one of America's legends of the West, Kit Carson. It also has a fantastic bridge over a gigantic trestle, the 1,000 year old Taos Pueblo, and beautiful views.
I also fly over Taos Mesa Brewing in this video.. Beer rules.

New Mexico Land For Sale: 2.5 Acres, Middle Mesa, San Juan County, NM
San Juan, New Mexico | 2.5 Acres | $8,000
Located just north of the Navajo Marina, this 2.5 acre lot is a perfect place to build your summer cabin or vacation getaway as it will put you in easy driving distance of all the great boating, fishing and water sports available nearby. Another nice thing about this land is its proximity to all the other great outdoor recreation activities offered in the nearby counties. If you ever get tired of taking your boat or jet ski to the marina, you can drive east to adjacent Rio Arriba County and explore the El Vado, Heron and Abiquiu Lakes. This property doesn't have to be seasonal and enjoyed only in the summer months, however. In the winter you can take advantage of the world famous Taos Ski Valley which is less than two hours to your east, or Telluride, which is just across the Colorado border and less than an hour and a half to your north. Best of all is that this property sits in one of the unincorporated areas of the county, meaning there are no Planning & Zoning restrictions and the indiscriminate parking of and living out of an RV is perfectly legal.
