Arrochar, Scotland
Little look about at the Rest and be Thankful before heading into Arrocher itself, stunning sunny day (pity it was too windy for safe flight most of the time) but the wee drive and the wee fly cleared the cobwebs, you can also see the Cobbler on the Arrochar Alps lol.. I have walked to the cobbler many times over the years.

Our best day in Scotland - Feeding Red Deer & Loch Tay Cruise | Highland Safaris [Ad]
One of our favourite days in Scotland! Today we're at Highland Safaris Aberfeldy to feed red deer and cruise on Loch Tay. Then we see some Highland Cows, how Scottish can we...⬇ More Below ✈
While this is sadly one of our last days in Scotland and Perthshire as a whole, it's definitely one of the most random and fun days we've had! Highland Safaris in Aberfeldy is showing us an incredible time in this vlog, we hope you love it as much as we did/do. Feeding red deer, boat cruise on Loch Tay, meeting some horses and highland cows all in one video! Is it THE best day? OK that's hard to pick in such an epic country but it sure was a stand out.
We start off with a boat cruise on Loch Tay with Loch Tay Safaris. Loch Tay is really a uniquely shaped loch and has the deepest spot in Perthshire right next to the tallest mountain - very cool to see.
Off to the main Highland Safaris Aberfeldy centre and we're feeding red deer! Seeing the red deer so close and learning more about them was absolutely incredible. Highland Safaris has all sorts of other activities on site we wish we could have checked out, worth a look for sure.
Thinking the day was over at this point, but we checked into the Old Manse of Blair and were offered the chance to go up the road and see some highland cows - you'd have to be crazy to say no to that. Highland cows are the best, as Stace mentions, they look so emo with their fringes ????
???? Our incredible accom was The Old Manse of Blair, you can see the reviews and pricing here: or check out their site here:

Stirling: Heart of Scotland prepares for election battle as SNP target key seat
By Alistair Grant
THERE'S a reason Nicola Sturgeon chose Stirling to kick off the SNP's general election campaign.
The constituency – which takes in rural areas, former mining villages and middle-class enclaves as well as the city itself – voted strongly to remain in the EU in 2016.
It also voted No a few years earlier, but make no mistake, this is a key SNP target seat.
Scottish Conservative candidate Stephen Kerr is defending a majority of just 148, making this the tightest Tory marginal in Scotland.
He said he is quietly confident of victory, and contrasted his own local credentials with those of the SNP candidate Alyn Smith, who recently moved to the area to fight the election.
We are completely embedded in Stirling, he said. This is our home. I'm proud to come from Stirling, and it's been an immense privilege to represent Stirling in parliament and I want it to continue.
Mr Kerr, who lives in Bridge of Allan, said concern over a second independence referendum is absolutely front and centre of this election, closely followed by issues relating to Brexit.
Local bugbears such as planning decisions, transport and broadband connectivity also come up frequently on the doorstep.
Stirling will be one of the first cities in the UK to benefit from ultrafast broadband, and both candidates praised the scheme.
Mr Kerr said the constituency boasts a particularly switched-on electorate.
Look at the turnout figures in Stirling for the last few elections – they are always way above the national average for Scotland and the UK as a whole, he said.
Voters in Stirling know very clearly what the choice is, he argued. They can vote for Nicola Sturgeon's candidate and their obsession with another independence referendum next ye
Paddle steamer Waverley visits Tarbert, July 2011
RESIDENTS in Tarbert were celebrating this week after the Waverley paddle steamer sailed into the village's east pier.
Previously unable to dock at the Loch Fyne village without being pulled in by local fishing boats, the famous paddle steamer pulled up alongside the newly strengthened pier on Wednesday.
At a special reception held aboard the Waverley, chairman of Tarbert Harbour Authority Board, Alan Macdonald, said it had been two years since the Waverley had been able to dock at the east pier unaided.
Guests aboard the Waverley enjoyed a trip up loch Fyne with views of Skipness Bay and the coast of Arran.
UK Government immediately rejects Nicola Sturgeon's plan for 'Scottish visa'
THE UK Government has shot down Nicola Sturgeon's plan for a Scottish visa as part of its Brexit-related overhaul of the UK's immigration system.
Within hours of the First Minister publishing a detailed policy paper on the idea, the Home Office dismissed it, bluntly declaring that immigration will remain a reserved matter.
The UK Government said different rules around the UK would massively complicate the system, although there might be regional variations in salary thresholds for UK visas.
The swift and brutal rejection, just days before Ms Sturgeon is due to set out her 'next steps' on a second independence referendum, suggests Boris Johnson is in no mood to give further powers to Holyrood in the current climate.
Earlier, Ms Sturgeon had warned a blanket refusal would reinforce the perception that the Westminster was incapable of accommodating distinctive interest.
The SNP said the UK Government needed to do much better than a curt dismissal, and it was only highlighting that Westminster doesn't work for Scotland.
It followed the Scottish Government issuing a 94-page paper proposing a tailor-made Scottish visa to help cope with an end to freedom of movement after Brexit.
Scotland is wholly reliant on inward migration for population growth, and there are fears that if EU migration plunges after Brexit, Scotland's population could stagnate or even shrink.
The First Minister said more immigration was needed north of the border to maintain the tax-base which pays for public services.
She proposed the part-devolution of immigration to Holyrood to attract migrants through a cheaper, simpler visa based on Scottish residency and the Scottish tax code.
It would be an additional option alongside all other UK visas, but les

Precision Rifle Series part 2 - Fieldsports Ireland episode 15
The Americans come to Ireland to go shooting. Jason Doyle and his shooting partner Daniel O'Flaherty are back at the 1,000-yard range at Midland National Shooting Centre of Ireland (MNSCI) to take part in an international PRS match, the Guardian Copmpetition, against competitors from across the Atlantic.
Plus Jason has had a pair custom made for him by US cobblers Lathrop & Sons. He reviews what makes good hunting boots.
What is PRS?
Precision Rifle Series is a long-range target-shooting match that started life in North America. It is now a huge series with regional and national matches.
Normally the courses of fire are shot between 200 and 1200 yards but nothing is set in stone. There could be a moving target shot freehand standing at 25 or 50 yards as part of the days shooting. The targets to be shot vary from steel to paper to reactive targets and the distances and time constraints change from match to match.
Shooters are required to shoot from multiple conventional shooting positions, including standing, kneeling, sitting and prone. They will also have to shoot from built props such as fences, gates and mounds of earth. You need to know your rifle and ballistics inside out and be well practised to be prepared for any real life hunting scenario.
