Awesome Wine tasting in Australia’s Barossa Valley
The Barossa Valley is Australia's premier wine region. If you have ever tasted an Australian Shiraz it came most likely from the Barossa. The valley is home to some of the world's biggest wineries such as Jacob's Creek and Penfolds, however the many boutique wineries is where the region really comes alive. Jump on a bike, go off the beaten track and discover your new favourite winery. You could stay in the Barossa for a week indulge in the ridiculously good food and wine, but we're giving you our 48 hour itinerary to experience the famous region in 2 days. See it all in our in depth destination guide and latest episode of Australian Adventurer, our original travel videos series where we discover the best of Australia.

Taste The Barossa
The Barossa Valley, located in South Australia is in our opinion arguably the best wine producing region in Australia and has a rapidly growing international reputation for quality wine around the world.Combine the Barossa Valley's world class wine with a flourishing gourmet food industry and you have a perfect place for a wonderful day of indulgence, or even longer if you wish. Our small group wine tasting tours depart Adelaide 7 days a week and cost just $95 pp. Our tours offer you tastings at 4 wineries and include the famous Peter Lehmann's Weighbridge Platter Lunch.
Taste the Barossa is a passionately owned family business. When you call to book you are going to speak to my wife Nikki. Our kids James (12) and Georgia (10) often spend an afternoon with their Mum checking out brochures around the city and little Tamsin (1) just sits around looking cute. I have had a love affair with the Barossa Valley for many years. When I left school, my first job was on the bottle line at one of the wineries in Tanunda. I have been involved in the wine tourism industry in one way or another for the last 15 years.
Taste the Barossa is your Barossa Valley Wine Tour specialist.

ADELAIDE VLOG ! Wine and Hot Air Balloon | Eeked
To kick start 2017, SAT flew Chenelle and I to Adelaide. The trip was all food, lots of wine, and so many firsts; we went on a hot air balloon, tasted wine brewed on our birth year, went on a luxury trike tour and stayed at a beautiful resort overlooking the Barossa Valley. It was magical!

Barossa, South Australia
The Barossa offers everything you'd expect from Australia's most famous wine region. Winemakers waiting to share their secrets at the cellar door; landscapes etched with manicured vineyards; passionate food producers proffering their wares at country markets; and grand chateaux surrounded by ornate gardens. And it's all just an hour from Adelaide.
The region owes much of its appeal to the European peasant farmers and English free settlers who made the place home from the 1850s. You'll get a taste of their rich cultural legacy in superb Barossa specialty foods, dozens of festivals and events, historic architecture and inspiring arts and antique galleries.
Take a winery tour in a limousine or vintage car, or float above the valley in a hot-air balloon. Wake up in the Barossa after spending the night in a restored settler's cottage, a resort suite, a luxurious country house or a shady caravan park. Sample German wursts and cakes in heritage bakeries and butcher stores as you follow the Barossa's Butcher, Baker, Winemaker Trail. And get right into the swing of things at one of the 100 events making up the biennial Barossa Vintage Festival.
