Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
A Real Taste Of Rural Myanmar ????????YANGON TO BAGAN
Leaving Yangon and taking a night bus to beautiful Bagan. We went during rainy season against everyone advice as everyone said it's always raining and you won't be able to see nor do anything, well we advice everyone to go during rainy season (when it's about to end) because the hotels are not crowded and are cheaper. With all of this said, in this video we walked around Nyaung-U the little village near Bagan where we stayed and found so many surprises... We gave belly rubs to pigs, we had a local putting tanaka in our faces, like we said many many surprises...

ALL pagodas in Bagan CLOSED! THIS is what you must do! | Bagan - Vlog #4
Why are the pagodas in Bagan closed in 2018? Where should you watch the sunrise now? Our Myanmar vlog will show you the trick we used to enjoy a beautiful sunrise on top of a SECRET pagoda, and we had it all to ourselves! This is definitely the best pagoda to visit when you're in Bagan!
Our next stop in Myanmar is the ancient city of Bagan. Filled with over 2200 pagodas, stretching back to the city's height almost 1000 years ago, Bagan is one of the pearls of Myanmar. Here, we sought to catch a glimpse of one of the renowned sunrises from atop of the pagodas. The sight exceeded our expectations and is something we won't forget easily!
Next up, we travel to Kalaw to start a multi-day trekking through the local villages on the way to Inle Lake.

BAGAN MYANMAR VLOG (QUICK WALKING TOUR!!) | EP15
Hey everyone! In this short vlog, I will show you exactly what you will expect in Bagan Myanmar if you decide to walk around the temples and Pagodas on the side of the road.
Robyn and I are currently in the Old Bagan area which is absolutely stunning. In this area of Bagan, it is absolutely raw with no sign of tourists! This area is perfectly safe for travellers (even if you are a solo female traveller).
This area has thousands of these Pagodas and temples, some of which are still open to the public to climb them to watch the sunset (or sunrise).
We are staying at the Temple View hotel which is located in New Bagan, which is a short e-bike ride from Old Bagan.
Anyway, hope you liked this short but insightful roadside tour of Bagan :-)
Have an awesome day!

MYANMAR VLOG - BALLOON FLIGHT OVER BAGAN | EP06
Hey Everyone! In this Myanmar vlog, you will join us on our adventure on a balloon flight over Bagan.
The adventure begins with a 5 am pickup from our hotel to the launch site in Bagan. It was such a rush watching all of the balloons being ignited simultaneously!
Our basket was quite full and within a short period of time, we were on our way to see some of the most popular temples and Pagodas from the sky. It was a peaceful experience.
Our landing was sensational! We almost hit a tree on the approach and touch-down was a jolt. But after we disembarked from the basket, we had champagne and croissants waiting for us.
It was an incredible way to end a memorable experience. I highly recommend trying this experience if you ever come to Myanmar (and your budget allows for it)
It costed us $335 USD per person and we ballooned with Balloons Over Bagan
Let me know in the comments below if you are planning a trip here.
