Asian Try REAL Mexican Food (Mezcal, Taco, Sangrita, Sal De Gusano, etc) MEXICO CITY FOOD GUIDE ????????
Today we tried Taco, Mezcal, Sangrita, Sal De Gusano, etc. Locals said there are over MILLION kinds of taco in Mexico and we get confused. If you walk in Mexico City, the best outstanding scene would be street Mexican tacos stands which can make you drool and get hungry like crazy. One thing about Mexican Street taco and restaurants tho, there are too many different kinds and almost all of them does not have a sign in English. You can also try to experience Mexican tacos by yourself but what can be the better way to experience Mexican food culture is to have locals/experts guide you, that's why today i think it will be very useful for you all as we are introducing Tasty Bites Food Tour run by Rob and Antonia. They have great knowledge in Mexican food and culture, being guided by them is fantastic experience for us as we have learnt so much and this totally make our trip so fulfilling in Mexico City.

FOOD IN MEXICO - All the Food I ate in Mexico. Tasty Delights
What food to eat in Mexico. Mexico Food Vlog. I went to visit family for 5 days in Mexico, and I recorded most of the food we ate during our stay. We were in Mexico City, Cuernavaca and Acapulco. I had so much fun, and the food in Mexico is some of the best food I've ever had in my life. Can't wait to go back! My personal channel:
Random Facts:
- Gloria is my favorite popsicle shop in Mexico City, my favorite item they have is the cheesecake popsicle.
- I had never heard of a Volcan as a type of food, but OH MY GOODNESS IT'S AMAZING.
- The Pozole was so on point and it was only like $2, I couldn't believe it.
- I let my husband try the Paleta de Mamey @1:29 but it was so cold he didn't bite through, hence, the bite marks lol.
- They have the friendliest squirrels at a park called Los Viveros de Coyoacan, some even shake your finger to thank you if you give them peanuts!

A Taste of Mexico City Found at Machete Azteca - Episode 2
I stumbled upon Machete Azteca by accident. I was across the street at the Asian grocery store picking up some items for home when hunger struck. As I was leaving the Asian grocery store the Machete Azteca sign caught my eye. I pulled into the parking lot and noticed a sign on the door that Best of Phoenix Winner. I knew that I was about to walk into something special, but I had no idea just how special this hidden spot was going to be.
The serving sizes are large, so you get a lot of food for your money at Machete Azteca. Bring your appetite when you come because you're going to want to order more than just one dish once you see the menu. Everything on the menu looked amazing. We ordered four dishes and I wanted to order four more, but obviously, that would have been way too much food for two people. I will come back often and try something different every time.
The first dish to arrive was the Papas Locas or Crazy Potatoes. This was a great appetizer that tasted every bit as good as it looked. The cheese, meat (carne asada), and sour cream atop a bed of french fries was a great way to warm my stomach up for what was about to come.
Then came the Quesadilla de Chicharron Prensado. The first thing you notice is the size of the quesadilla. It's a 16-inch tortilla stuffed with tender pork, cheese, and green salsa, all made a magnificent bright orange color from the pork oils and marinade that was used. There are three types of salsa at the table, one is a cilantro avocado sauce, another is a red sauce which had just the right amount of heat, and the last one was a jalapeno sauce that packed a huge amount of flavor.
Next, there was the Huaraches de Bistec Encebollado. A thin and fluffy homemade masa dough with a thin layer of smashed pinto beans, followed by a thin layer of white cheese, topped by a hefty layer of Bistec beef mixed with grilled onions and jalapenos. This was such an impressive dish with all of the flavors exploding in my mouth that I almost thought about not sharing it with my camera girl, hahaha!
The last part of our meal was a Mexico City classic beef broth, Caldo de Res. The mild and well-balanced soup is an instant favorite and makes you feel instantly comfortable. The tender beef melted in my mouth and the bone in the soup only added to the already great flavor provided by the corn, carrots, potatoes, and zucchini. This might be one of my new favorite Mexican soups.
While I have a lot of experience eating Sonoran-style Mexican food, I had no experience eating Mexico City style Mexican Food. But the staff at Machete Azteca were very helpful and friendly. They enthusiastically helped me with the menu, and I enthusiastically ate everything they put in front of me. A big thank you to all of the friendly and helpful staff at Machete Azteca.
Machete Azteca has two locations, this one is open 7-days per week. On weekdays they are open from 10:00 AM until 9:45 PM and on weekends they open two hours earlier at 8:00 AM. This restaurant is in an unassuming location. You could easily drive right by it without ever noticing there is even a restaurant there. Use your GPS or your phone's map app to make things easier. For those that are winging it, this restaurant is on the South-West corner of West Indian School Road and North 67th Ave, next to the gas station.

Beyond tasty Mexican Street food Oaxaquena Tlayuda ~ Just The Cook
If you have never had Tlayuda before you must find some! I found mine at Las Brasas in Memphis TN. It is beyond tasty Mexican Street food #Oaxaquena Tlayuda. Lots of tasty Mexican street food has made it's way into America. This one (Tlayuda) is a little harder to locate. But I promise it is worth the hunt!! The name serves a dual purpose, for both the GIANT corn Tortilla and the meal. You can have it made with Steak, Chorizo or Pork. I chose all three!

There is so much to see and do in Oaxaca. But, honestly, you could visit this city in central Mexico just to eat. The Ultimate MEXICAN STREET FOOD TACOS Tour of Mexico City! (ft. La Ruta de la Garnacha)
►Subscribe to Lalo’s channel:
►T-shirts available now:
Welcome to the best tacos in the world - the ultimate guide to Mexican street food tacos in Mexico City!
I met up with Lalo from La Ruta de la Garnacha ( he’s from Mexico City, he makes videos about street food as well. And he took me to his favorite tacos in all of Mexico City. We each ate the most tacos in one single day that we’d ever eaten in our lives, and it was the greatest taco day of my life!
Here are all the places we ate in this video:
Tacos Joven - They are known for their tacos de canasta, which are basket tacos, famous in Mexico City. They are served from a basket, and they keep hot the entire day as they are served. The highlight here was the chicharrón taco with chicharrón salsa.
Price - 13 MXN ($0.70) per taco
Taqueria El Abanico - This is Lalo’s favorite restaurant in Mexico City for carnitas, the wildly popular braised pork taco. The entire rib in my taco was the highlight, so tender and flavorful.
Price - 20 MXN ($1.08) per taco
El Pescadito de Sonora - Originating from Hermosillo in Sonora, El Pescadito serves Mexican seafood tacos, especially shrimp or marlin tacos. Their tacototo is a taco that will change your life. This was as good as food gets for me.
Price - 35 MXN ($1.89) per taco
Tacos Charly - When it comes to Mexican street food, suadero is one of the greatest, a massive pan of slow braising beef in its juices. When you order your tacos, they slice up the meat, dip your tortilla in the fat, and you eat it with onions, cilantro, and salsa - pure meat heaven.
Price - 13 MXN ($0.70) per taco
Taqueria Los Güeros - Tacos de tripa, intestines, are very popular in Mexico City as well. They may not be the most pretty tacos, but they are immensely flavorful and have all sorts of different textures going on in your mouth.
Price - 13 MXN ($0.70) per taco
Tacos Los Juanes - This is a great Mexican street food restaurant in Mexico City that serves all sorts of different tacos. We came for the tacos de cabeza and tacos de lengua, both of which were fantastic
Price - 10 MXN ($0.54) per taco
El Vilsito - For Mexican street food in Mexico City, the ultimate taco, the most loved by everyone is no doubt, Al Pastor. Cooked in the vertical spit, a technique brought over from Lebanese immigrants, Al Pastor is usually made with marinated pork that’s juicy and flavorful it might make you weep tears of joy. Lalo and I ordered, not just your ordinary tacos de al pastor, but the King of all tacos, the Gringa!
Price - 50 MXN ($2.70) each
Thanks again to Lalo from La Ruta de la Garnacha:
