Street Food Tours 2019 at Oudong Hill Side Cambodia
It's a tasty day tours to Oudong Hill Side at Kampong Speu Province in Cambodia. This place is just about 41km north of Phnom Penh city. We can check the street food market and test all the foods we like as they're grilling, cooking, serving during lunch time and it's cheap. We can try grilled snake-head fishes, catfishes, climbing perch with pickled vegetable or a grilled chicken. Let's take a look at grilling stuffed frogs with the smoke and smell really tasty. The fried crabs and snails look so delicious. They also have grilled bee-nest (honeycomb) and many other foods. After testing all the foods, we can try rice cake and palm juice with palm fruit or sugarcane juice. There're more street foods, cakes, fruits, vegetable available at Phnom Oudong hill side in Cambodia. I flew my drone capturing the top view of Oudong hill side street food market and Oudong Mountain also known as Phnom Preah Reach Trop or Phnom Edthareus. It's a beautiful place to visit and relax on the weekend in Cambodia.

Khmer food: Trying out the local cuisine in Cambodia | Phnom Penh - Vlog #44
In today's vlog, we aimed to explore the local cuisine in Cambodia, aiming to try out some delicious Khmer food. Let us tell you, this was some really tasty food!
The local Cambodian/Khmer food is typified by it's mix of temperatures, texture and flavor. And it's a rare sighting to be served any Khmer dish without an accompanying portion of rice! Allegedly, rice is such an important part of the Cambodian diet, that the locals greet each other each morning with the phrase: Have you eaten rice yet?

Hello everyone and welcome to our channel :)
We are Fridtjov and Julia, a travel couple from Norway and Germany on our very first trip around the world.
Here at JJ's Journey, we upload daily vlogs to collect our travel memories and share all our ups and downs along the way with you, so that you get an honest insight into how it is to travel together as a couple.
We will also try to provide you with helpful travel tips and recommendations for places to visit 2018 that we pick up together with you on the way.
The truth is, we are just an everyday couple that fell in love with travelling. We do not know yet, what the future holds for us, where we will be in one year and for how long we can afford to travel. For now we are just grateful for every single day we have the opportunity to live the life we always have been dreaming of.
Kampot Trip 01 with Khmer Tourist Family
I'm traveling with the Khmer tourist family to Kampot for 2days & 1 night on the international Children's day in June 2019. This video open to the Khmer tourist family having breakfast at Toulkork in Phnom Penh city and continue traveling along Chamkar Doung Street (217) to National Road No.2 heading to Takeo Province. We bought Java Plum or black plum along the road, just to keep our mouth busy. We arrived Takeo town but we didn't stop there, we continued along National Road 2 to Phnom Den (Den Mountain at border of Cambodia-Vietnam). We turn right on National Road No.216 to Tani Market and continued on National Road No.31 to Angkor Chey district in Kampot Province to buy watermelons as it's the season of watermelon in Cambodia. It's sweet and juicy soaked with lots of vitamin. I like it.

Cambodian Street Food - GIANT GRILLED SQUID and MEAT MARATHON in Phnom Penh, Cambodia!
Phnom Penh, Cambodia is a street food paradise!

On this Cambodian street food tour of Phnom Penh, I’ll be taking you along to Phnom Penh’s Central Market (Psar Thmei), and a landmark in the center of the city. The market itself is not too impressive in my opinion unless you’re looking for jewelry or overpriced clothes, but the street food court and market on the outside is where you want to be.
There’s an abundance of Cambodian Khmer food and Vietnamese food available at the food court of Central Market, and there’s so much to choose from that it can be challenging to decide where to eat. The colorful selection of herbs and vegetables lead me to the bun rieu noodle stall, a Vietnamese crab noodle dish. We first enjoyed a delicious bowl of bun rieu with all the herbs and chilies we wanted. Bun rieu - 7,000 KHR ($1.70)
On the edge of the market you’ll find some huge grilled squid, and it’s incredibly tempting. I thought it was a little expensive (possibly overcharged), but nevertheless, it was amazingly delicious. Giant grilled squid - $8 USD
Next up you’ll see lots of fruit shake vendors at Central Market in Phnom Penh, I had a durian avocado, and it was amazingly delicious. Durian avocado shake - 6,000 KHR ($1.46)
Cambodian oysters as they are known, but really some type of cockle are a common Cambodian street food in Phnom Penh. They are sun dried and they are actually quite tasty. Clams - 4,000 KHR ($0.97)
Yee-ay Sok Sor - sach ko ang jakak (grilled lemongrass skewers), this place was amazing for their Cambodian grilled lemongrass marinated meat skewers in baguettes. Total price - 36,500 KHR ($8.87)
Dried buffalo (sach krobei) - We had a little miscommunication and ended up ordering quite a bit of dried buffalo. The good news is that it was incredible delicious, and so we were happy to have that much! Price - 55,000 KHR ($13.37) for ½ kg.
Our final stop on this Cambodian street food tour of Phnom Penh, we walked around towards the Old Market, and bumped into a grilling meat stall that was too good to pass up. It wasn’t planned, but today turned into a Cambodian grilled meat marathon. Total meat price - 27,000 KHR ($6.56), Soursop fruit shake - 4,000 KHR ($0.97).
Cambodian has amazing street food, and Phnom Penh is a truly exciting city to eat in!

DELICIOUS CAMBODIAN DESSERTS! | Orussey Market, Phnom Penh, Cambodia
The Orussey Market is a sprawling, buzzing market with stalls selling items of all sorts from food to housewares, clothing & electronics. Not like any market I have been to before, this particular one is overwhelmingly cluttered with merchandise and merchants of all kinds.
I came across these interesting looking treats that really intrigued me, so I just had to give it a go! Small little sponge-like cakes placed in little bowls, steamed up and topped with coconut milk. The spongy cake itself had a slight sourness to it, and the coconut topping was irresistibly sweet and creamy.
Next up, I went with some soup-like looking desserts. First one I had is a popular Asian dessert with 10 different items in it. All the fresh ingredients mixed in with the sweet sugary soup was just delicious. I also had to try their egg drop soup looking dessert. This one was not as sweet as it had a lot of egg flavor. Both very good tasty desserts with their own unique taste.
After having a sugar rush, I went for a stroll outside and saw some bananas grilling, and could not resist but to get TWO! First up was a banana wrapped in sticky rice wrapped in banana leaf. This sticky but tasty treat had an amazing fragrant coming from the leaf itself. The banana in the center is nice and soft with a natural sweetness. The second was just the banana alone grilled on a skewer. This one had a hard outer and a soft inner. Also fluffy and sweet on the inside, this particular one does not have much of a fragrant. My preference would have to be the one wrapped with the banana leaf.
If you are in Phnom Penh, be sure to make a day to come visit the Orussey Market. Whether it's shopping, eating or simply browsing, this market will be sure to keep you occupied.
Located in the center of Phnom Penh, there are many ways to get here. Taxi, tuk tuk, motorbike or Grab App are always good options.

Phnom Pehn Cambodia Night Street Food Tour and Amazing Cyclo Tour with Club Adventures
Ya'll KNOW we had to start Cambodia off with a food tour. And what a delicious one this was. I'm slowly bringing Dame Donna over to the foody side. Much of this I've eaten before but have to admit, this was especially tasty.

On this Cambodian street food tour in Phnom Penh, I’m taking you on a one day tour to eat authentic Khmer breakfast lunch and dinner in a single day.
Cambodian Breakfast - 7 am
There are plenty of dishes you can eat for breakfast in Cambodia, but nothing is as popular or widely available as a dish called bai sach chrouk, grilled thin strips of marinated pork over broken rice with pickles and soup on the side. It’s a simple combination, but a plate for breakfast is extremely satisfying. Price - 3,500 KHR ($0.84)
Cambodian Lunch - 11:30 am
Just outside of Psar Chas (Old Market) in Phnom Penh, you’ll find an abundance of colorful Khmer street food stall that serve all sorts of grilled river fish, and a huge selection of different dishes to choose from. While most locals get their food for takeaway, a kind lady offered us a seat in front of her house to sit down and eat. It was an amazing and extremely local Cambodian food lunch. The grilled fish and the parhok were my favorite dishes. Lunch total price - 35,000 KHR ($8.42)
Cambodian Dinner - 6:30 pm
For Cambodian dinner we decided to eat Cambodian bbq, and it’s a type of restaurant you’re going to want to try when you’re in Cambodia. 34 Langeach Sros is a Cambodian beer garden style restaurant, and they have a pretty good assortment of grilled meats and unique Cambodian delicacies. It was one of the tastiest Cambodian meals I’ve ever had in my life. The ant larvae and goat was amazing, and the eel fried with herbs was outstanding. Thank you to Lina from for the recommendation. Total price - $22.88
That completes an authentic tour of Cambodian food in a single day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoyed it!

About This Episode:
Today we're in Cambodia looking to hunt down some street food (Khmer Food) and Phnom Penh's Central Market is a great place to start. This place is a bountiful treasure trove for locals and tourists alike selling everything from clothes and electronics to produce and fresh steaks. If you're looking to get tons of street food in one place, put Central Market on your must-see list. Just tell Any tuk-tuk driver to go to Central Market and you'll be on your way.
About Sonny Side:
I’m not sponsored. I’m not rich. I’m just some guy who wanted to make the type of travel videos that I would want to see. This show is completely self-funded so thanks for patiently watching that five second advertisement (and read below how you can support this channel).
I am a video director by trade. Each time I travel to a new country I bring a cameraman with me, usually a friend, to shoot as many episodes as possible in a short amount of time (usually a week). The rest of the time I’m working as a video director/videographer in Vietnam and editing the crap out of these videos.
Much love and remember, Don't Think, Just Chew.
