BAIE VERTE MARSH N B
From Tidnish road bridge to Siddall road bridge then back home. Little boat using electric engine, so you can ear the peaceful Baie Verte Marsh. This waterway was used by the native and early french settler and probably look pretty much the same. This marsh is surrounded by farm land, land kept for preservation and two ponds managed by Duck Unlimited. It is peaceful and clean. the tides are about 2 meters.
Arches Provincial Park, Western Coast, Newfoundland, Canada
This is a short video of a beautiful park on the roadside of the Viking Trail highway, with large stone arches that have been eroded underneath to form arches. The round stones are so smooth and amazing, and the western afternoon sunlight is shining through the clear water of the Gulf of the St Lawrence.
Maiden Voyage Camping
This is our first camping trip in our new travel trailer. We went to a nearby campsite called EJ Webber, located on Lake Charlotte here in Nova Scotia. We went for 3 nights, getting to know the inner workings of our new toy. While there we took Abby for a nice walk at Clam Harbour Beach Provincial Park.

Trans Canada Trail~Pictou to Wallace
This is a few highlights from my drives from Pictou Nova Scotia to Wallace on the old short line railway. From Pictou to Wallace is about 72 kilometres (45 miles) on the old rail line and is well maintained trail and easy to drive. Along the way we cross a large bridge in River John and another smaller steel bridge as we enter Tatamagouche. In Tatamagouche we pass by the Train Station Inn where you can spend a night in a caboose and eat dinner in a restored dining car. From here we have to drive on the road for a few miles before jumping back on the rail line and continue to Wallace. At Wallace we stopped on the old swing bridge that is a Canada Heritage site. It is 440 feet long and about 65 feet high and is quite a nice place to visit. From here we stopped at the wharf in Wallace before taking the Sunrise Trail highway back into Pictou.
