Exploring TOYAMA | Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route & Black Ramen
Visited the famous Yuki-no-Otani (Snow Wall) at the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route and ate some of Toyama's famous Black Ramen (yes, it ACTUALLY is black!) during my day in Toyama Prefecture!

How to travel The Tateyama Japan Alpine Route | Where to travel in Japan?
In the 3 times we've visited Japan, The Alpine Route was our favourite thing we have done and one of the best places to travel in Japan! We stayed overnight in Murodo which made the trip as we got to see the sunset and rise. We went during October/November (The Alpine Route is closed during winter).
The JR Pass does not include the transportation to cover the alpine route and tickets must be purchased seperately at the major train stations. Make sure to buy the ticket in advance as you get a slight discount. The tickets cost about $100. Our accommodation cost ~$300 for a night but prices may vary a lot depending on availability and season!

At that moment, I still could not make sure where were the parents indeed. But now they are grown up and gather together so people call this area as Sharks' City.

Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route! Japanese Alps! What a beauty to behold! If Toyama isn't in your to go list, maybe you should revisit that!
I apologize for some of the shaky video, I tried to go as light as I could. The video was shot with a Canon 6D mark 2 and a 24-70 as well as a 70-200. Canon L series 2.8 glass respectively. I was so sore carrying all that however the Onsens sure did help! :)
We have less than 8 months left in Japan! Going to miss life/travel he but we are excited for new opportunities!
Our trip to Toyama was a repeat of our last adventure; we decided to go again because the weather was bad and didn't see what we wanted to the first time.
We had inspiration from several youtubers on where to go for our trip. Oh the wonders of the internet!
Our first stop after taking the Shinkansen and taking a local train was Unazuki onsen town where we stayed at a Ryokan! That first day was spent riding the Kurobe railway and admiring the panoramic views of the event. Afterwards we soaked in the onsen and called it a night!
The next few days were a combination of hiking and taking various forms of transportation through the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route. My wife and I decided to backpack the whole journey and I must say we are stronger now for it! One of the most memorable moments of the trip was speaking to a shaman at the top of the summit of Mount Tateyama he blessed us and offered us sake!

Climbing Mount TATEYAMA 立山 | Travel vlog 25 Japan
Today was the day! After 3 hours in transport and 1,5 hours of hike, we finally reached the peak of mount Tate. What a beautiful experience. It was definitely one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen! The way back felt long, so of course we treated ourselves to a big bowl of ramen when we were back in Toyama.

I went to short trip to Tateyama with my friend.
We had arrived there at 11:00am and soon got for the beach! but we could not find sands.
And then we climbed rock to feel sun.
It was beautiful sky and water.

Overview:
Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route(Snow Corridor) is the hallmark of this trip. A route in snow clad mountains with various types of transportation to take from the foot of the mountain to different PoIs in Northern Japan Alps.
- Open only from mid April to Nov end
- Snow Corridor (A 10 mts high snow walk through which Buses pass an you can walk in this walkway.
