Visit Zakopane National Park. A mesmerizing playground for tree-huggers and ramblers like myself. There are days worth of hikes and exploring to do here.
2. Trip out over Morskie Oko, the Eye of the Sea, one of the deepest, largest lakes in the Tatra Mountains.
3. Try to summit the tallest peak in Poland. The thunder gods may have other plans.
4.Decide you would rather live a long life with a beer in a cozy warming hut.

Poland Is A Winter Wonderland - Tatra Mountains Zakopane
Winter in Poland is a dream! We travelled from Krakow to the Tatra Mountains in Zakopane. Visiting Poland is a must, especially during winter, it is stunning. This travel vlog we visit the Siklawica Waterfall at the end of the Strążyska valley.
Then we go in to Zakopane centre and enjoy potato pancakes, our new favourite food.

Hiking the Tatra and Pieniny Mountains in Poland | Trackin' Dirt
Travel to new places often unearths some of the simplest pleasures. While everything is foreign and different, something as simple as a new food item can provide memories for years to come. Enter: perogies in Poland. Little did I know that this unassuming food item would become the anthem of my travels through Southern Poland.
My travels through Poland provided more surprises than just excellent and economical food. I had no idea Poland had mountains! Proper mountains. In my mind, I envisioned Poland as a beautiful, green countryside with delightful rolling hills. And to be sure, Poland is that—and more.
