Iki - Mysterious and beautiful island in Nagasaki Prefecture
Iki Island is an archipelago in the Tsushima Strait, which is administered as the city of Iki in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. The island is famous for its white-sand beaches, delicious fresh food and beautiful nature. Furthermore, more than 1,000 shrines are located on the island. It only takes one hour by jetfoil boat to go this mysterious place from Hakata Port in Fukuoka. Korean presenter Heeya visited Iki for the first time. Check out her vacation experience.

Participated in a cruise to uninhabited “Tatsunoshima”
The sun was strong but it was a very comfortable place.
Tatsunoshima Beach is selected by the Ministry of the Environment's “100 Best Beaches”. It is located on a 0.16ha uninhabited island, Tatsunoshima, about 1km northwest of the main island. Tatsunoshima is designated as a special protected area of the quasi-national park, and there is the “Tatsunoshima beach plant community”, a nationally designated natural monument. Among them, the “hyabijacin (gymless plant, cypress family) community” is famous. The area around the island where the Tsushima Current is flowing is also known as a fishing spot. The Tatsunoshima Festival is usually held on the first Sunday of August.

Dinner at Chigaso Ryokan on Iki island Nagasaki Japan.
I've got an invited to dinner at the Chigaso ryokan in Nakasaki city(Iki island).
They prepare foods and drinks on a table next to the wall.
The sashimi, Mozuku, Iki beef, seasoned rice, grilled abalone and etc were very great.
And rice and soup could refill the foods when empty.
일본 나가사키현에 위치한 이키섬의 치카소 료칸(온천) 저녁식사 체험입니다.
여러가지 회모듬과, 국, 양념된밥, 생선구이, 이키섬의 특산품인 이키소의 고기맛은 일품이었습니다.
국과 몇몇 반찬은 식사가 끝날때 쯤 들어와서 아쉬웠습니다.
편안한 잠자리와 함께 즐거운 식사였습니다.

Takenotsuji is the observatory located on the highest mountain in Iki Island.
This is the best observatory to see the beauty of Iki Island from the highest point.
If you are visiting Iki Island, I would recommend visiting.
I started from Gorilla Rock in the west and drove to Takenotsuji,
and it also includes driving video.

Since a lot were interested in follow me around vlogs, here it is!
I'm sorry if you can't hear what I'm saying well at the beginning! and also, after the room tour, someone drove me to the museum, so it's NOT the view from where I was staying lol It's been a while since I've done this type of vlogs and I totally have a lot to remember XD Sorry for your inconvenience!
I was at the island to join the tour to visit some shrines that have something to do with Kojiki, which was guided by Mr. Tsuneyasu Takeda - the great great grandson of Meiji Emperor and to listen to his lecture of it. It was so much fun! The footage will be uploaded on my Japanese channel soon together with my rambling in Japanese XD:
One of the reasons why I wanted to visit this place is because back in the day, almost all the Japanese inhabitants there, including a lot of children and women, were massively slaughtered by the Mongolian army with the idea of Korean king, 忠烈王 as Korea was their dependency. We call the invasion, Genkou: 元寇.
What I didn't know til I visit there is that Iki island was being used like a silk road. They used the village that I show in this vid as the relay point to the main island of Japan from China/Korea, meaning they were trading with those places. I was wondering why they decided to attack the island several times but now I see, that it's a historical place where those people knew about it very well - this chinese document 魏志倭人伝 talks about the place too. So does our 古事記 - Kojiki :) They attacked other places as well, though. All our territories remained the same as Japan won and pushed them away :p
