Krakow Airport Terminal 1 Tour - Krakow International Airport Information
This is a walk inside Krakow Airport named John Paul II International Airport Krakow Balice. The film footage starts with the arrival at Krakow Airport (KRK) outside the main departure terminal (Terminal 1). Viewers will notice that there is allot of construction work in the area, this is because Krakow Airport is undergoing a major modernization program.
The footage starts with the main check-in area located in the terminal. Once check-in has taken place we move upstairs to where the security control and gates are located. Just when you get up the stairs passengers will find a large cafeteria / restaurant where they can have a drink or snack before their flight (this is also a perfect place to have a drink or snack with non-passengers before a flight. After passing the security control we find ourselves inside the very small departure area where the gates are also located. Viewers are given a view of this terminal and the duty free shops, kiosks, bars, snack bars, lavatories and Business Lounge service this area has to offer. Viewers are then given a view out of the windows which face the runway (not a very busy runway) which give the passengers a nice view of some of the airport activities. The footage ends with the boarding process at Krakow Airport where passengers are driven by bus to their respective aircraft.
Wiki writes about Krakow Airport, John Paul II International Airport Kraków–Balice (Polish: Kraków Airport im. Jana Pawła II since 4 September 2007; earlier in Polish: Międzynarodowy Port Lotniczy im. Jana Pawła II Kraków–Balice) (IATA: KRK, ICAO: EPKK) is an international airport located near Kraków, in the village of Balice, 11 km (6.8 mi) west[1] of the city centre, in southern Poland....In 2003, when Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair became interested in starting a service from the John Paul II International Airport, the airport authorities refused to reduce the landing fees. In response, the regional authorities of Kraków and Lesser Poland Voivodeship decided to build a new airport near the existing one, using the infrastructure of the military airbase adjacent to the shared runway. Finally an agreement was reached, and the existing airport was opened to Ryanair and other low-cost carriers such as Germanwings, EasyJet, and Centralwings...
Wiki writes about Krakow (Kraków), Krakow, a southern Poland city near the border of the Czech Republic, is known for its well-preserved medieval core and Jewish quarter. Old Town – ringed by Planty Park and remnants of the city’s medieval walls – is centered on the stately, expansive Rynek Glówny (market square), site of Cloth Hall, a Renaissance-era trading outpost, and St. Mary’s Basilica, a 14th-century Gothic church...
This Krakow Airport terminal review is filmed at Krakow Airport (KRK) (Terminal 1) and includes a walk through the airport from arrival to embarkation of our Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt.

8 THINGS TO DO IN AND AROUND KRAKOW, POLAND
Hello everyone!
I had the chance to visit Poland back in March and decided to make a short vlog out of it. Here you can find some of my suggestions and what to do / see in and about this beautiful city!
The list does not include things which you can find in the old town as I thought it would be pretty natural for anyone to see them anyway. My suggestions are based on personal liking and what I feel is really worth seeing in Krakow and around it. I included Zakopane as well, a small town two hours outside of Krakow, close to the border with Czech Republic. There are loads of buses going there everyday and I feel like it really is something worth visiting if you find yourself in Krakow - or Poland - for long enough.
Hope you enjoy it! And please let me know in the comments if you have any additions / suggestions / thoughts.

Today, we cover 16 things we wish we knew about FlixBus in less than 10 minutes.
Have you taken FlixBus or another inexpensive option? We'd love to hear about it in the comments. Do you have questions we can answer? Ask away!

Krakow Travel Guide: Where to Change Money and Get Polish Zloty
Planning a trip to Krakow? Save $35 on your first AirBnb booking:
●
Whether you're visiting Krakow for just a few days or you're hoping to spend a longer period of time in the city it's a good idea to know how and where to make the most of exchange rates when you're looking to pick up some local currency (Polish Zloty).
There are quite a few places around the city where it's like that you're going to get scammed, and at the very least not be able to take advantage of a favorable exchange rate, so I made this video to help save you some money and to make sure that you're getting the best possible deal.
Like I mentioned in the video, your best bet when visiting Krakow as well as the rest of Poland is to use your credit card for major purchases and to withdraw money at ATMs from reputable banks if you need some currency on hand.
For those of you that need to exchange any foreign currencies into Zloty I would recommend heading to the Old Town Square and visiting the Kantor (currency exchange) by the name of “Grosz”.
The location is just a block away from the main square and this place offers the most favorable rates the entire city.
To look it up, the address is:
Slawkowska 4
And it has a very central location so it's not very hard to find that all.
Most foreign credit cards as well as European debit cards will work no problem in Krakow and as long as you practice some common sense you shouldn't run into any issues at all when it comes to exchanging your money and paying for things using cash or your credit card.
Keep up with me online!
