Hike to Taylor Lake in Banff national park in mid july. not much footage, at one point pouring rain for a good 45 minutes, then as you can see what droplets on Nikon 7100 it was actually snow coming down. Like they say you have to be prepared for all weather. Unfortunately we didn't spend much time up here, partly do to the weather but mostly due to a foul mouthed group at the campsite, and their non stop yelling and cursing at each other

This vlog is about our stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park in Alberta Canada. We arrived just after a fresh snowfall in October and were stunned by the breathtaking views! Lake Louise is truly magical and not to be missed.
If you are planning a visit to Banff National Park in the fall, know that many of the summer activities will be closed. When we arrived the canoes were put away, the road to Moraine Lake was closed, many of the hiking trails were shut down, and the two closest hot springs were closed for winterization and maintenance.
That being said, there is still plenty to do at the resort, the food is amazing, and the hiking and snow play around Lake Louise are enough to keep you busy and satisfied for days! We made approximately 552 snowmen during our stay!

BANFF | Lake Moraine In The Snow

The lads wake up to unexpected snowfall the first day in Banff. The day is spent hiking over icy rocks at Lake Moraine, dealing with Bus drama, avoiding enormous tourist swarms and basically just looking at snow.

Banff tip: Walk like 2 minutes away from where the buses drop you off and you will get away from the huge amount of tourists and have hikes almost all to yourself. Also plan ahead with the buses...
