Egg Challenge Rules
The organisers of The Egg Challenge want everybody to participate in the challenge and to ensure that those who do so enjoy the experience and have fun. We therefore feel that if all participants adhere to the following rules, everybody will be safe and have a good time whilstraising much needed funds for a good cause.
1. Nominees for the challenge should be twelve years of age or older at the time of the challenge.
2. On nomination it is up to the Nominee him/herself to “Find a Friend” to take part with them.
3. Two eggs will be used for the challenge, one hard boiled, one raw.
4. The Nominee has first choice of egg. The “Friend” takes the remaining egg.
5. Nominees and Friends participate at their own risk.
6. Participants in the challenge must only break the egg on their own head. Under no circumstances should they break an egg, anywhere on anybody else.
7. The organisers and/or agents acting on their behalf may hold events in public places where people can get together and take part in the challenge. Whilst every effort will be made by the organisers to keep the area clean and safe it will be every persons own responsibility to exercise caution in the event of floors etc. being slippery. It is recommended that parents take particular care of young children at such events.
8. The organisers of public group events will be equipped with waterproof capes to protect participant’s clothing insofar as is possible. We will however not be held responsible for any damage or staining of clothing of anyone, be they participants or spectators at such events.
9. Events held on private property will be the liability of the property owner themselves.
10. The Participant agrees to release the Aghamore Community Development Co. Ltd. and ISPCC/Childline to the fullest extent permissible under law for claims and demands of any kind, and from all liability that may arise in respect of any damage, loss or injury occurring to any person.
11. Have fun. Be safe. Support a very good cause
