Description: The Teatro Comunale di Firenze is an opera house in Florence, Italy. It was originally built as the open-air amphitheatre, the Politeama Fiorentino Vittorio Emanuele, which was inaugurated on 17 May 1862 with a production of Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor and which seated 6,000 people. It became the focus on cultural life in the city. After closure caused by fire, it reopened in April 1864 and acquired a roof in 1882. By 1911 it had both electricity and heating. In 1930 the building was taken over by the city authorities who renamed it the Teatro Comunale. Bombing during the Second World War damaged the building once again, and other problems closed it for three years in 1958. Finally, in May 1961, the then-modernized theatre reopened with Verdi's Don Carlo. It had become a 2,000 seat elliptically shaped auditorium consisting of a large orchestra section, one tier of boxes, and two wide semicircular galleries, which betray the building's amphitheatre origins. As the theatre became more closely associated with Italy's first and most important music festival, the annual Maggio Musicale Fiorentino which had begun in 1931 as a triennial festival and, except for the war years, became an annual one after 1937, so its name was changed once again for the festivals to the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

Nata ad Alzano Lombardo ( BG ), si è diplomata a pieni voti all’ Istituto Donizetti di Bergamo nel 1985/86. E’ stata allieva del Soprano Ida Farina di Parma e completato gli studi di perfezionamento con il Mezzo-Soprano Vittoria Mastropaolo di Milano.
Ha studiato perfezionamento e tecnica vocale con Fedora Barbieri a Firenze e con il M° Kaminski di Tiegen.
Soprano lirico-leggero, di coloritura e con voce calibrata e vellutata, di ampia estensione. Straordinaria belcantista, il suo repertorio va da Bellini,Donizetti, Verdi, Puccini per finire a Mozart, Hoffembach, ecc...
Vincitrice di diversi concorsi nazionali ed internazionali, tra i quali citiamo il L.Carrara, B.Gigli, Sirmione, Città di Milano ed il Battiastini, finalista in tanti altri e finalista europea nei concorsi di L.Pavarotti negli anni 1987/1989/1991.
Ha debuttato in teatro al “ Coccia “ di Novara ( opera Nabucco, parte di Anna ), a Nizza Nonferrato ( Sonnambula, parte di Lisa ), ed a Rieti al Vespasiano come vincitrice assoluta del Battistini e come protagonista della Sonnambula.
Vincitrice di concorso pubblico, è stata il Primo Soprano del Coro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, dove è stata dal 1990 sino al gennaio 2013. In questo periodo, sempre per conto del Teatro Comunale di Firenze, è stata voce solista in diversi concerti in Italia ed in alcune opere liriche all’estero.
Nel 2001, a Firenze, in Palazzo Vecchio, è stata insignita, per il canto, dall’Accademia Internazionale Medicea, con il premio “ Lorenzo il Magnifico “.
Ha avuto esperienze televisive, nel 1990 con la TV/Globo di Milano e nel 1991 a Tele/90 di Firenze, ottenendo notevole successo.
In Italia ha effettuato numerosi concerti e recitals ricevendo sempre positivi consensi e riconoscimenti.
All’estero ha cantato all’ Oper Tether di Hamburger, a Neuwied presso il castello dei Principi Wilher, alla presenza dll’Ambasciatore Italiano, ed in altre città ( Vienna, Zurigo, Colonia, Amsterdam e tante altre).
Ad oggi continua ad effettuare concerti, riscuotendo calorosi consensi di pubblico e critica.

The Teatro Comunale Alighieri is an opera house located at 2 Via Mariani in Ravenna, Italy and designed by the Venetian architects, Tommaso Meduna and his brother, Giambattista who had designed the second La Fenice theatre after the fire of 1836. The new Teatro Comunale Alighieri was inaugurated on 15 May 1852 with a production of Meyerbeer's Robert le diable, followed by Giovanni Pacini's Medea. It presently offers a program of up to six operas during the season which runs from November to April.
For about 125 years following 1723, Ravenna had one main theatre for the presentation of opera, the Teatro Comunitativo located outside the centre of the city. It featured a lavishly decorated, U-shaped baroque auditorium with 97 boxes on four tiers. In the 50 years following 1802, it presented 170 operatic productions, 24 of which were by Rossini, 22 by Donizetti, and 10 by Verdi. However, the 1830s and 1840s revealed its inadequancy, and plans were made to build a new theatre in the heart of the city; the cornerstone of the replacement theatre was laid in 1840.
With construction continuing until 1852, the new Teatro Comunale was named for the famous poet, Dante Aligheri, who had been exiled from Florence and then spent the last four years of his life in Ravenna. Reflecting the style of the Venetian brothers, the exterior of the Alighieri is neo-classical with a four ionic columns and a portico with statues of four Muses. With 118 boxes in four tiers plus a gallery, the auditorium was constructed in the traditional horseshoe shape with 830 seats.
As befitting his position as the major operatic composer of the day, Giuseppe Verdi's operas were dominant at the new theatre during its first fifty years; of other composers' works, Donizetti's operas were the only ones which appeared regularly until 1870 and those of Bellini vanished after 1866. However, French grand opera survived until the 20th century.
Since its foundation in 1990, the annual June/July Ravenna Festival has presented a very diverse range of operas at the Alighieri. These have included rare works by Salieri, Auber, and Cherubini as well as less performed operas by many of the standard 19th-century composers plus more popular works.

Saranno i rappresentanti dei cittadini, delle Istituzioni e quattro ex Questori di Firenze i testimoni del 158° Anniversario della Fondazione della Polizia di Stato, che anche questanno ripropone il tema Cè più sicurezza insieme. Le celebrazioni si articoleranno in due diversi momenti. La cerimonia istituzionale si svolgerà questanno presso il Teatro Comunale. Per il secondo anno sarà riproposta la simulazione di una scena del crimine a cura della Polizia Scientifica, che illustrerà le varie tipologie di attività tecnico-investigative di rispettiva competenza. La Polizia postale sarà impegnata con personale specializzato in unattività informativa mirata alla prevenzione dei rischi legati alla navigazione on line.
I cinofili e gli artificieri, nei pressi della Loggia dei Lanzi, daranno corso a dimostrazione delle attività di ricerca e recupero di materiali pericolosi. Sul fronte della sicurezza alla guida sarà invece impegnata la Polizia Stradale, presso il cui stand sarà dedicata particolare attenzione al fenomeno dellebbrezza ed alle strumentazioni utilizzate per il controllo del tasso alcolemico.
Per gli interessati potranno essere effettuate prove dimostrative del funzionamento delletilometro. Presso piazza Pitti saranno invece esposti i veicoli storici e quelli attualmente in dotazione ai diversi Uffici. I veicoli strotici, insieme alle 24 uniformi storiche che saranno indossate da agenti in servizio presso gli Ufficio della polizia di tutta la provincia, testimonieranno la continuità della istituzione nellevolversi dei tempi e della cultura della sicurezza.
I dettagli saranno illustrati alle ore 11,30 durante la conferenza stampa che si terrà presso la Sala Dionisi della Questura di Firenze in via Zara n. 2.
