Mein neuer Künstlerbär Little Edward/Box Opening/Merrythought/Teddybears of Witney
Hallo liebe Bärenfreunde :)
In diesem Video möchte ich Euch gerne meinen neuen Bären, „Little Edward“ vorstellen.
.......................................................
Englischer Orginaltext:
Little Edward, Christopher Robin’s Teddy Bear by Merrythought:
Similar to our Witney Exclusive ‘Billy’, Little Edward is a petite replica of the teddy bear who inspired AA Milne’s Winnie the Pooh stories. Originally created by Farnell in 1921, Edward is brought to life again by Merrythought as the star of the film ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’.
Like Edward, this sweet little bear is made of antique gold mohair with sandy-beige felt paws. He has deep amber and black eyes, a hand-embroidered nose and friendly smile, giving him a quintessential charm that can only be found in a teddy bear of such timeless design and heritage. Made in a special edition and presented with a blue cylindrical gift box, each bear is numbered.

Hier die deutsche Übersetzung:
Little Edward, Christopher Robins Teddybär von Merrythought:
Euer Ferdi (alias Tanja) ♥

Inside the Teddy Bear Museum with Alfonzo, Aloysius (Brideshead Revisited fame) and co.!
Last December, during a flying visit to London and Oxford, I was able to make a special trip to Witney, a town in the Cotswolds. Witney, famous for it's world class blankets, is now famous for another reason. It now houses the world's best known Teddy Bear Museum and Shop owned by my old friend Mr Ian Pout. After meeting Ian, almost 8 years after leaving England, I had enough time to walk around his shop with my Camera on video mode and this is the result. More information about the museum and shop from -
Hope you all enjoy this wonderful world of Teddy Bears!

Watch: Teddy Bears [Children in History 2] (1992) - FULL EPISODE
David Wood and his childhood cuddly toy Fred the Ted take a trip to Merrythought in Ironbridge, Shropshire, looking at the manufacturing process of stuffed bears and meeting Mrs Taylor, who helps give Fred a new lease of life. We're also taught the history of German lady Margarete Steiff, who is largely credited with the invention of teddies, and play David's guess-the-bear song-game. See if you can get all three.
This episode was originally broadcast on Tuesday, 22nd September, 1992, and I'm happy to say that all these years later Merrythought is still going strong, even getting the contract to produce the official teddies of the London 2012 Olympics.
Grateful thanks to Ben for providing this recording - don't forget to check out youtube.com/benriggers when you get the chance.

PAUL JESSUP | The Great British Teddy Bear Company
Here's a video about Paul Jessup and the Great British Teddy Bear Company. The Great British Teddy Bear Company was born out of Paul’s desire to create a toy- a teddy bear for this instance- that one will choose to keep. It is that one teddy bear that people will pass on to their children with stories and the memories that are attached to it. Toys are, after all, a great means to ensure that memories that you cherish are preserved and passed on to the next generation.

This Little Girl Will Warm Your Heart. :)
We LOVE So You Think You Can Dance, and call us prejudiced, but it's even more interesting when a member of our church is a contestant. Well, a mother of 2 that gave up dancing to be a wife, and more importantly raise children, decided to audition, and she was so good, they had her little boy take a ticket straight to Vegas before she was done with her audition. And she has the cutest little girl that said it was her turn, so they let her dance. This is the video. One of the cutest things EVER!!! :)
