Right in the heart of the Liberties, against the backdrop of a city steeped in whiskey history, the Teeling Whiskey Distillery opened its doors in 2015 as the first new distillery in Dublin for over 125 years. Once home to over 37 distilleries, Dublin is no stranger to the craft of whiskey making. Distilling is in the fabric of our city and our family, this is more than a beginning, this is a revival.
With one eye on the past, but looking to the future, we’re the new generation of Dublin distillers. We approach our craft with a respect for generations passed but with the confidence to forge the next chapter. At Teeling Whiskey, we let the liquid do the talking, this is our story.

???????? The Spirit of Dublin (Teeling Distillery)
Josh and I left the Dublin Castle and went straight to the Teeling Distillery to experience the Spirit of Dublin. We were able to use our Dublin Pass here to get in. We were really craving a beer so we asked the lady if we get a drink before the tour of after, and she said after. So, since our tour didn't even start for another 20 minutes we went to the bar to get a local brew.
Josh was supposed to get paid but there was a fire at one of Wells Fargo's buildings and they shut down nationwide. Crazy.
After the tour we went back to the Airbnb to pack because the next morning we were heading back to America. All great things must come to an end...

Teeling Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery established in Dublin in 2015. It is the first new whiskey distillery to have opened in Dublin, once a world whiskey distilling capital, in over 125 years. In fact, with the last of the original Dublin distilleries having closed in 1976, it is the first whiskey distillery to operate in Dublin, once home to at least 37 distilleries, in almost 40 years.
