The City Theater تئاتر شهر is a performing arts complex in Tehran, the capital of Iran. It was built with the initiative of Shahbanu Farah Pahlavi شهربانو فرح پهلوي under the rule of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi محمد رضا پهلوي, the last Shah of Iran شاه ايران.
It contains several performance spaces including the halls of Charsou چهارسو, Qashqai قشقايي, Saye سايه, and the main hall. The complex was designed by architect Ali Sardar Afkhami علي سردار افخمي in the 1960s, and opened in 1972. After the 1979 Revolution, the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has overseen its operation.

The Ritual-Traditional Festival is held annually or biannually to keep alive our rites, custom and traditions. During the festival, different kinds of dramas, interludes and other stage performances with themes inspired from Iran's literature are performed. It is an excellent festival.

خیابان لالهزار یکی از خیابانهای قدیمی و مرکزی شهر تهران است. این خیابان از جنوب به میدان امام خمینی (توپخانه)، از شمال به خیابان انقلاب اسلامی (شاهرضا) منتهی میشود.
لالهزار در اواخر دوره قاجار و اوایل پهلوی نماد نوگرایی و هنر ایران بود و «شانزهلیزهٔ تهران» لقب گرفته بود. بسیاری از تئاترها، رستورانها، تجارتخانهها، کابارهها، پیالهفروشیها، خیاط خانهها، سینماها و فروشگاههای معروف ایران در این خیابان قرار داشتند.
Laleh-Zar street (Persian: خیابان لالهزار) is one of the oldest streets of Tehran, Iran. This street is bordered to the south by Imam Khomeini square (former Toopkhaneh), and to the north by Enqelab Street (former Shah Reza Street).[1]
At the end of the Qajar era and beginning of the Pahlavi era it was a symbol of modernism and art of Iran and was called as Tehran's Champs-Elysées.[2] Many theaters, restaurants, businesses, cabarets, dish-sellers, dressmakers, cinemas, and famous shops of Iran were located in this street.[3][1]
Laleh-Zar district was Once the street in which all the cinema of Tehran were placed. The first movie in the history of Iran was shown in the Laleh cinema. This cinema itself was first inaugurated in 1945 and Prior to that this region was once the place of Mosafa garden, a Royal garden for the families and a place for the diplomats.

Tehran's most famous landmarks include the Azadi Tower, a memorial built under the reign of Mohammad Reza Shah of the Pahlavi dynasty in 1971 to mark the 2,500th year of the foundation of the Imperial State of Iran, and the Milad Tower, the world's sixth-tallest self-supporting tower which was completed in 2007. The Tabiat Bridge, a newly-built landmark, was completed in 2014.
