Spray trails form into long pillar type light ships. The one on the left seemed to take on a dragon shape. Just before these emerged, a woodpecker called from the light post. This morning is the first time I recall hearing a woodpecker sing.

OUR FIRST VIDEO!!!!! Fishing at Leduc Reservoir
Thanks for watching our video!
Today Mike (Dad), Lily, and Sully went out with Aunty Nicole, Uncle Mike, and Aleigh (Gator) to the Leduc Reservoir to try and catch some fish! Although we didn't catch anything it was good practice, and Mike got to practice editing a video!

July 24 severe night storm: Leduc, Alberta
After the first real hot day of the cold and wet summer of 2019, dewpoints soared into the 20s and fueled violent thunderstorms overnight bring with them flash flooding, large hail as large as 2 inches, severe winds, and 10,000 lightning strikes per hour at it's peak.
Call to action: Part of the reason I have been having difficulty making videos is I have been trying to find a working video editor for AMD Ryzen and Nvidia hardware. I have also basicallybeen Scammed by a company Magix, who withheld important information that would have changed my purchase decision. Apparently most of their stuff only works with IGPU, and they did not note that in their product description on Steam.

JJ Collett Nature Area in Lacombe, Alberta
Have you ever hunted for the perfect toboggan hill - one steep enough for a fast slide, but not too tall that the walk back up is torture?
Central Alberta has many such hills, but when you live in an urban area, finding the perfect toboggan hill can be tricky. That's why we explored the J.J. Collett Nature Area in central Alberta near our hometown. The hill we found was surrounded by nature and we spent a perfect winter day sledding down a proper hill.
Join Marti from Down the Wrabbit Hole - The Travel Bucket List as she and her kids explore the J.J. Collett Nature Area near Lacombe, Alberta for winter hiking and tobogganing.
