Ke Pantai lagi .... tapi sekarang gak basah basahan cuman jalan jalan aja. Kuantan berada di dalam wilayah Negeri Pahang , Malaysia. Seperti kota lain nya disini ramai tapi gak terlalu padat , kalo hari libur atau akhir pekan warga sini pada nongkrong di teluk cempedak bahkan kalo liburan warga dari negeri yang lain pun pada jalan jalan kesini.
Letak nya yang gak terlalu jauh dari pusat kota teluk cempedak sangat mudah di jangkau , fasilitas yang lengkap tempat parkir yang luas dan banyak restoran disini.
Berdua bersama uwa andri kita menikmati sore disini , biarpun hanya sebentar tapi lumayan bisa menikmati lagi keindahan alam di negara tetangga. Semakin sore tempat ini makin ramai pengunjung, silih berganti kendaraan masuk dan jeluar area parkir.
Monyet monyet teluk cempedak menjadi kesan terbaik bagi kita , jumlah mereka yang banyak dan hidup bebas di hutan yang bersambung ke pantai membuat monyet monyet itu jadi keliatan sangat lucu ketika ramai ramai turun ke pantai.

Teluk Chempedak beach is approximately 5km away from the town of Kuantan. If you are coming from the town centre, go towards the east direction to Jalan Teluk Sisik. Go all the way to the end and you will reach Jalan Teluk Chempedak.
You will reach a dead end where McDonald, KFC and Hyatt Regency Hotel are located. Park your car and walk towards the beach. Take note that Hyatt Regency Hotel will be closed for at least a year for upgrading work effective 1 Sept 2015. This is one of the main beach that locals go to during the weekends and after office hours to unwind and for a time of leisure with family members. This beach is an enclosed bay and is a good place for water sports activities such as swimming, jet-skiing, surfing or sun-bathe.
Kite flying during the windy days is a definite thing to do for children of all ages. During the monsoon season from November to March, do be careful with the sea as the waves can be quite rough. Hence, it is not recommended for you to swim here during this time.

Teluk Cempedak (Kuantan Malaysia)
Teluk Chempedak (Cempedak Bay) is about 4 Kms from downtown Kuantan and easily reached by the local Kuantan Rapid bus service. Bus 200 leaves from the temporary station (May 2014) near the Stadium, takes about 20 minutes and costs 2 MYR.
First impressions are not so good with lots of American fast food outlets and some fairly run down looking hotels opposite the bus stop.
Once on the beach though, it is much nicer. The beach looks (at first glance) to be quite clean and well maintained. Once on the raised walkway and looking back however it does not look so inviting, particularly at low tide.
It is very quiet, almost deserted mid week with the monkeys out numbering people. The monkeys are very well behaved and polite enough. I went there twice and didn't observe any threatening or aggressive behaviour toward people.
The raised walkway is quite pleasant to stroll along but the railing is poorly maintained with missing rails and some sections about to fall off.
Leaning against any of the rails would be very dangerous.
There are play areas for children and the (pay) toilets are reasonably well maintained. The covered cafe area is also pleasant enough but not many of the food vendors open during the week.
All in all, quite a pleasant place to spend a few hours.

We decided to take a break in Pahang and roam around the town of Kuantan and Teluk Cempedak. From tasting the best grilled patin tempoyak, having Royal Pudding for the first time and skating around town to pass time, Kuantan satisfied our palates and our need for a retreat. Next time we're here, we'd definitely love to try and surf!
