Among all kinds of tea in Taiwan, Wenshan Pouchong Tea, Oriental Beauty Tea, Tungting Oolong Tea, Mountain Oolong Tea are most famous. Wenshan Pouchong Tea is made of slightly fermented and rolled mature tea leaves produced in the northern mountainous area adjacent to the Wulai Scenic Area. Wenshan Pouchong Tea produced in Pinglin, Shihting and Hsintien of Taipei County is most prestigious among all tea regions. Oriental Beauty Tea is also known as Bai Hau Oolong Tea and more supirior with more white buds. Only Taiwan has such kind of tea that is mainly produced by tea regions in Peipu and E'mei of Hsinchu County and Touwu and Toufen of Miaoli County. Tungting Oolong Tea is well-known abroad, originated from mountainous regions of Lugu Township, Nantou County, of which the altitude is 500 to 800 m.
