Спот в Эль Медано встретил очень красивыми видами. Смотришь в одну сторону город, в другую два вулкана. А между ними дружно катают виндсерферы, кайтсерферы и трусерферы. Условия для каталки не легкие. Сильнейший ветер, прибойная волна. На глубине волна местами встает в рост человека. Но побывать и покатать здесь обязательно каждому кайтеру;)

Tenerife Trip 2019 - Vlog No. 3 - El Medano Kiteboarding
We decided to go to workation this year with my wife and my daughter.
Here's documentation of our family trip to Tenerife from 6th March to 9th April.
El Medano - small village near the airport in the southern part of the island. Probably the only kite spot on the island. Not so many spots comparing to Fuerteventura but there is certain quality to it - great waves for surf and boosting old school jumps (mostly left side). If you're into freestyle and you ride mostly right leg unhooking you can do it as there is some flat water between waves and wind drops in the evening to steady 16-18 knts for bigger sizes. Generally I liked it better than nuking, gusty offshore Sotavento.
Wind directions mostly NE and ENE. When the second direction is in you get Venturi effect, so you can add 10 knts to the forecast! I mostly used 8m Eleveight FS which is crazy cause at 71 kg my main size in Poland is 11m Airush Razor (which I used only twice here...). That shows you how much wind Tenerife offers - you can rarely see kites bigger than 9m. In this movie it wasn't even so much wind after all. It was like 19 to 23 knts. Waiting for another 27-30 knts days. With 1,2 - 1,5m waves you can get 10 to 12m jumps easily!

Hola a todos, Aqui mi nuevo edit de kitesurf del rider Marius Hoppe, gran colega, todo grabado en el spot del medano, en Tenerife, este es uno de mis mayores proyectos por la gran duración del video, y la dificultad que tiene grabar y organizar todos los clips que aseguro eran muchos GBs, además del tiempo invertido en hacerlo, dicho esto espero que os guste el video y de ser asi lo compartais, y dejeis like y favoritos, la verdad que lo agradeceria mucho.
