LANGKAWI PANTAI TENGAH - CENANG BEACH MALAYSIA [2019]

Situated just around the southern road bend of Pantai Cenang, Pantai Tengah is a basically a continuation of Pantai Cenang. It is the longest stretch of beach in Langkawi – there are a few basic chalets here as well as a few big, all-inclusive resorts here that are especially popular with young families. There’s not much sightseeing here; truth be told that’s the case for most of Langkawi Island. However, there are more than a few ways to kick back and relax; spas are a dime a dozen and finding a tour operator to liven your day up with an island-hopping or mangrove eagle-feeding tour is as easy as pie. Pantai Tengah is a good place for gastronomic options and the nightlife scene here is definitely something to shout about but shopping outlets are sparse.

#Langkawi, officially known as Langkawi the Jewel of Kedah (Malay: Langkawi Permata Kedah), is a district and an archipelago of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea, some 30 km off the mainland coast of northwestern #Malaysia. The islands are a part of the state of Kedah, which is adjacent to the Thai border. On 15 July 2008, Sultan Abdul Halim of Kedah had consented to the change of name to Langkawi Permata Kedah in conjunction with his Golden Jubilee Celebration. By far the largest of the islands is the eponymous Langkawi Island with a population of some 64,792, the only other inhabited island being nearby Tuba Island. Langkawi is also an administrative district with the town of Kuah as largest town. Langkawi is a duty-free island.
There are two main island areas: the Southern Islands, with a heavier tourist population and the islands to the north east which are more secluded with little tourist traffic. Langun Island has a fresh-water lake like Pregnant Maiden Lake only without the tourists and has Sand Spit Beach on its south-facing orientation. Dendang Island next to it forms a bay used by Langkawi sailing yacht tour operators.
Some of the most popular beaches are #Pantai #Cenang, Pantai Tengah, Burau Bay, Pantai Kok, and Datai Bay. Pantai Cenang beach has long stretches of fine white sand. It has a number of restaurants and bars for evening entertainment, several hosting live music and for watching the sun set.The beach is lined with tall coconut and casuarina trees. Pantai Tengah is separated from Cenang by a small cape. It also faces the setting sun and has hotels than bars, making it less busy in the evening.Burau Bay, fringed by rocky outcrops, is visited by migratory birds. Pantai Kok quiet beach has a backdrop of limestone hills. Datai Bay has a combination of forests and sea, its white sandy beach is backed by forest.

Malaysia has plenty of amazing beaches, on Langkawi Island we were kind of spoilt for beach options as well. After some local recommendations in this travel vlog we visit Tanjung Rhu beach - the best beach in Langkawi according to most reports.

Tanjung Rhu beach is pretty far North in terms of the layout of Langkawi Island as a whole, though the travel to get there is very straight forward. There's plenty of beaches along the coast leading up to Tanjung Rhu, but there don't appear to be any real names for them to share if you wanted to travel to them.

We started and ended the day on the main tourist beach called Cenang Beach. It's one of the more well known in Malaysia and probably the best beach in Langkawi in SOME peoples opinion - if they haven't been to Tanjung Rhu beach. Either way, another epic day exploring Langkawi Island and sadly the last of our vlogs from here, and the last from our trip to Malaysia.

Tengah Beach, Langkawi

Tengah Beach is located close to Cenang but separated by a rocky outcropping which means this beach is typically less crowded. You can easily walk there from Cenang or hire a bike and head over for an afternoon. Water and sand is about the same.

Cenang Beach Langkawi - Malaysia

Pantai Cenang is the busiest beach town on Langkawi Island, where you can find a diverse mix of cafes and restaurants, as well as souvenir shops, and duty-free outlets along its picturesque beach strip.

One of the best walk around Beach in Langkawi. :)

Пляжи Лангкави (Langkawi Beaches)

Самые популярные и лучшие пляжи Лангкави - Pantai Cenang, Pantai Tengah, Burau Bay, Pantai Kok, и Datai Bay.
В отличие от пляжей Тайланда на Лангкави практически нет длиннохвостых лодок которые загрязняют окружающую среду и вы не услышите непрекращающийся шум моторов лодок. Здесь пляжи и берег моря поддерживаются в порядке и чистоте. И вообще, весь остров произвел на нас отличные впечатления.

Расположенный на западной береговой линии Pantai Cenang и Pantai Tengah - красивая пляжная зона, Малайзия остров Лангкави. До международного аэропорта Лангкави можно добраться всего за 20 минут.

❤ Пляж Pantai Cenang - чистый красивый пляж, имеет длинные участки мелкого белого песка. Вдоль пляжа расположено много отелей, ресторанов и баров с живой музыкой откуда можно наблюдать закат солнца. Песчаный пляж окружен высокими кокосовыми пальмами и деревьями семейства Casuarinaceae.

На Langkawi нет общественного транспорта, но все могут пользоваться такси или арендовать автомобиль, велосипед, скутер и т. д. Все такси имеют стандартную систему оплаты по фиксированной цене. Стоимость проезда с одной части острова на другую всегда равна одной и той же стандартной цене. Это конечно минус для туристов, посещающих остров.

Однако можно хорошо сэкономить, если воспользоваться для заказа такси приложением Play Market Uber Taxi. Это порядка на 30% ниже цен в турфирмах, на улице или отеле. Мы пользовались такси Uber для передвижения по острову неоднократно - дешево и очень удобно, ничего не переплачивали. Цена поездки равна цене в приложении ! В Куала Лумпур Uber Taxi тоже работают.

Tanjung Rhu - northernmost tip of the island. Centuries-old limestone caves, mangroves, waterways, limestone crags and sandy beaches make it a nature lover's paradise. This beach is made up of 2 long stretches that include Tanjong Rhu Resort and Four Seasons.

Black Sand Beach (Pantai Pasir Hitam). The sand is mixed in white and black shades, due to rich tin and iron ore deposits. Tour buses stop here; souvenirs, restaurants, toilets available. During low tide you can explore the beach further west and find very tranquil spots for relaxing., toilets, mangrove tours and sun chairs available.

Pantai Cenang - The most popular beach in Langkawi, features fine powdery sand and many beachfront restaurants and bars. Located at the south-western tip of the island, 2 km long. This is also the busiest beach on island with jet-skis, banaboats etc. watersports. Along the beach there is market where you can find all type of shops (free duty, tour, bars etc)& restaurants. Unfortunately jellyfish are common here.
