茨城県最北端の地、北茨城市。海の崖の上にたたずむ六角堂。日本の美術の発展に大きく貢献した岡倉天心に関する資料や様々な美術品が展示されている天心記念五浦美術館を見学し、旅行者の旅がスタートします。美術館を後にした旅行者は、近くのお店「船頭料理天心丸」にてアンコウを用いた名物鍋「どぶ汁」を堪能します。その後「二ツ島」を背に磯原海岸を歩き、今度は山並みの見える方角を目指します。旅行者は山間部にあるガラス工房シリカ（SILICA）を訪ね、館内を巡った後に実際にガラス制作の体験をさせてもらいます。その後旅行者は紅葉に彩られた花園と呼ばれる地へ足を踏み入れ、花園神社を訪れてお参りを済ませた後、ハイキングコースを進み、七ツ滝を目指します。滝に到着し、その光景と音を満喫して旅行者は北茨城市の旅を終えます。
