Ini adalah Vlog #2 dari trip kami ke Jepang ini.
Di hari kedua ini tanggal 21 April 2018, kami akan pergi ke Tenshochi Park di Kitakami, daerah Iwate Prefercture. Menurut prediksi, Sakura di Tenshochi Park hari ini adalah puncak dari prosesi bunga mekar (Full Bloom).
Kitakami berjarak sekitar 480 km dari kota Tokyo, yang artinya kami harus menggunakan kereta Tohoku Shinkansen.
Dari apartment kami akan naik Yamanote Line menuju Ueno Station, kemudian kami naik Tohoku Shinkansen dari Ueno Station.
Kemudian turun di Kitakami Station, dilanjutkan dengan jalan kaki menuju Tenshochi Park.
Tenshochi Park hanya berjarak sekitar 800 m dari Kitakami Station.

Tenshochi, a municipal park in Kitakami, is located by the Kitakami River and renowned as one of the Three Best Cherry-Viewing Spots in Michinoku, along with Hirosaki in Aomori and Kakunodate in Akita. In 1990, it was also selected as one of the 100 Best Cherry-Viewing Spots by the Japan Cherry Blossom Association. There are about 10,000 cherry trees and 100,000 azaleas in the 29,300-m² park. Starting at the Sangobashi Bridge, there is a promenade along the river lined with someiyoshino cherry trees over 80 years old, which bloom around mid- to late April. Yamazakura and kasumizakura cherry trees on the surrounding hills come into bloom a little after the someiyoshino
The Kitakami Tenshochi Cherry Blossom Festival is held annually from April to May. In addition to cherry blossoms, you can enjoy an excursion boat ride, a carriage ride, and the view of colorful koinobori, or carp streamers, fluttering in the wind over the Kitakami River. At night, the promenade of cherry trees is lit up.
Tenshochi is an excellent sightseeing spot throughout the year, with its autumn foliage and swans in the winter, as well as the Michinoku Folk Village and Sato Hachiro Memorial Museum nearby.

Taman kali ini lebih besar dari yang sebelumnya. Pohon sakuranya juga lebih banyak.

Kitakami Station (北上駅 Kitakami-eki) is a railway station in the city of Kitakami, Iwate, Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East), with a freight terminal operated by the Japan Freight Railway Company (JR Freight).
Kitakami Station is served by the Tōhoku Shinkansen high-speed line from Tokyo to Shin-Aomori, and also by local services on the Tōhoku Main Line and Kitakami Line. It is located 487.5 kilometers from the starting point of the Tōhoku Main Line at Tokyo Station[1] and is also a terminus for the Kitakami Line.

However, the side platform is cut, forming a partial bay platform, so that the platform effectively serves two tracks. The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.

I went chasing the Sakura at one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom spots. With Michael and Yamauchi-san from Sprout Japan, we headed up north to Kitakami 北上市 and another cool Sakura spot in Iwate prefecture. It was a fun and informative trip and I hope you enjoy the video.

We went to Kitakami Japan to experience Cherry Blossom or tinatawag nilang Sakura, since tapos na ang Cherry Blossom sa Nagoya and Tokyo kung saan kami nag stay talaga. We have JR Pass, pinuntahan namin kung saan may Sakura pa which is nasa Kitakami or papunta na ng Hokkaido.. Enjoy watching..

ディスカバーニッポン・撮影：2014.4/25 岩手県の北上展勝地さくらまつりは、東北三大桜名所のひとつ。南部藩の宿場として栄えた北上の東側を流れる北上川の左岸の北上展勝地園内には約１万本の桜が植えられており、珊瑚橋から２キロに渡って700本の桜並木が続く。毎年４月中旬から５月上旬までは桜祭りも開催され、観光馬車や船下りなども出て行楽客でにぎわう。北上川に沿って続く、桜並木の周辺は川岸と畑が続き、観光馬車もゆっくりと走りながら、まさに牧歌的な雰囲気が味わえる。樹齢８０年を超える桜は圧巻で、頭上を覆い尽くし、まさに桜のトンネル。さらに川沿いを眺めれば対岸から桜並木までロープが張られた大小300匹の鯉のぼりが青空に舞う景色も美しい。歩き疲れれば、タンポポが生える川岸の草むらに座りながら緩やかに流れる北上川を眺めながめて過ごせるのもいい。いかにも遅い東北の春が、肌で感じられる桜並木でもある。

Alongside the cherry blossom, vivid carp-shaped streamers swim in the air above the Kitakami River.
Together with pleasure boat cruising, a horse-driven carriage also rolls through the avenue of cherry blossom creating a nostalgic atmosphere.
