The rip current was visualized by a colorant and the movie was recorded by DJI Phantom 2.
The head of colored current moved 20m in 30secnds, i.e. mean velocity of current was about 0.7m/s.

海面着色剤で流れを可視化してDJI Phantom 2で空撮しました．

my two years in niigata prefecture

i made this video for a friends wedding, so thats why the first two locations (the schools) seem a bit...random.

but besides that, i made this video to show the many sides of niigata prefecture. locations include niigata city, nagaoka city, bandai bridge, chosei bridge, big swan stadium, nagaoka castle, the villages and towns of matsudai, yuzawa, shitada, mitsuke, koide, and teradomari, and many other points of interest.

ive been living here for two years and i have to say im not tired of living here yet. theres still so much to see and do, so dont be surprised if i post another video highlighting niigata prefecture!
