#farfetchsuperstore - Restir, Tokyo 2 - Instavideo
An immersive retail experience that takes luxury fashion and presents it with a technological Twenty-first Century approach – that’s the proposition behind Tokyo’s Restir. The three boutiques in the group have been consciously located in the city’s Roppongi district, a creative melting pot where photographers, architects and art directors gather and exchange ideas. The recently opened main store comprises three distinct but beautifully designed areas, each with specific décor and soundtrack, but all presenting the Restir mantra of luxury with an edge.

Sushi Samba a Restaurants in London serving delicious Tempura and Sashimi
Located on the 38th and 39th floors at 110 Bishopsgate, SUSHISAMBA delivers a unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine, culture, music and striking design to the City of London. The location features the highest outdoor dining terraces in Europe, offering unparalleled, 360 degree views of the City. Two panoramic glass elevators whisk patrons from the ground to the 39th floor, opening up London from inside-out as the lifts climb further and further upwards. SUSHISAMBA’s main dining room – with its dramatic ceilings – overlooks views of London with floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides. A grid of lights hung through the open bamboo ceiling at varying heights creates a magical experience during daytime and evening, creating an intimate dining experience. The indoor-outdoor elements featured throughout the space, most notably, the designed structural orange tree on the west terrace. The tree sculpture reinforces the earth-to-sky motif while being an artwork in itself, reminiscent of great 20th century art and creates a dialogue with the street art found throughout the space.

Japan Trip: Wakakusayama Yamayaki Nara's winter seasonal tradition, Nara40
Japan Trip: Wakakusayama Yamayaki Nara's winter seasonal tradition, Nara40
The Wakakusayama Yamayaki is a festival held annually during which the grass is set on fire on the hillside of Nara's Mount Wakakusayama. The mountain is located at the eastern end of Nara Park, and when it is set alight it is visible from throughout the city. The burning of the mountain itself starts with fireworks display. The festival is held every year on the fourth Saturday in January, but can be delayed to the following Saturday in case of bad weather.
Todaiji Temple, Kofukuji Temple and Kasuga Shrine are all involved in the ceremonies of the festival. The Wakakusayama Yamayaki has been occurring over the past hundreds of years and its origins are not precisely clear. There is a theory that claims the burning of the mountainside began as part of boundary conflicts between Nara's great temples, and another that claims the fires were used to drive away wild boars.
Shortly before 17:00, a procession of about 30 people are involved in lighting the mountain on fire, departing from the Silk Road Exchange Hall in Nara Park towards the mountain, stopping at the Mizutani Bridge along the way where torches are lit. Around 17:30, the procession arrives at the base of Wakakusayama where several hundreds of spectators have already gathered, and a large bonfire is lit part way up the mountainside, just past the barrier prohibiting the public access.

Kamakura Engaku-ji Temple - Kanagawa - 円覚寺 - 4K Ultra HD
Kanagawa Kamakura Engaku-ji Temple - 円覚寺 - 4K Ultra HD : Like Hokokuji, Engakuji is not your average temple, and it is actually ranked as the second most important Zen Buddhist temple in Japan. Founded in 1282 by a Chinese Zen monk at the request of Hojo Tokimune (then ruler of Japan), Engakuji is in fact more like a closed village temple than an actual temple.
Indeed Engakuji features not only seven main buildings including the Sanmon (山門) as the main gate, but also a main hall or Butsu-den (仏殿), Shari-Den a reliquary hall (舎利殿), Butsunichia-an (仏日庵) or the burial site of Hojo Tokimune, Obai-In (黄梅院) a small temple containing a statue of Kannon, Ogane (大鐘) a 2.5m high bell as well, Mu (無) the grave of of film director Yasujirō Ozu and the private lodgings of many priests.
The “Japanese Village” atmosphere, with its many ponds, the cafe and restaurant make Engakuji one of the most interesting places to visit in Kamakura by a long shot!
