The Territory Wildlife Park is a zoo at Berry Springs in the Northern Territory of Australia, some 60 kilometres (37 mi) (about a 45 minutes drive) south of Darwin. It opened in 1989. Situated on 400 ha of natural bushland, it contains native animals and plants representative of Northern Territory, and especially Top End tropical monsoonal, environments. It contributes to their conservation through research programs as well as through public education. The three main habitats represented are woodland, wetland and monsoon vine forest.

It's a new day which means we are exploring Darwin's Territory Wildlife Park! The tour was called, TERRITORY WILDLIFE PARK and here is the tour description from NCL's website:
“Visit the Territory Wildlife Park, nestled in some 400 hectares of natural bushland and offers over 4 miles of walking trails that pass through abundant woodlands, lush wetlands and tropical forest. For the convenience of visitors, carriages pulled by small trucks are available which navigate around the park, providing commentary along the way.
While here, you’ll see a variety of native animals.There is an underwater walk-through aquarium where can gliding whip rays, other colorful fish and marine life. The Nocturnal House offers a glimpse into the lives of many species of nocturnal animals that are rarely seen in the wild. There is also a special enclosure where a scheduled performance will be held where you can observe birds of prey in full flight.
Although guides will greet your coach, provide maps and offer suggestions and assistance, what you see and experience here is at your discretion. It is suggested that you first cover those exhibits you most want to see in the time allotted.”

Day trip to Berry Springs
Hey all just took some footage of our family day trip to Territory Wildlife Park and Berry Springs today. I love to showcase some of our local parks on this channel and Berry Springs is always fun to visit. After one week at the Trevor's farm, this one has a surprise for everybody:
We go to the Territory Wildlife Park during all the afternoon before a barbie at the Berry Springs Nature Park.
Both of these places are close each other are only 60 km driving down the South from Darwin.

Berry Springs
Berry Springs, a half-hour drive south of Darwin, has a general store, petrol station and camping and caravan facilities. The small settlement is most often visited by those wanting to explore the Territory Wildlife Park and the Berry Springs Nature Reserve. The Reserve protects a large part of the Berry Creek catchment. Berry Creek begins as a series of springs, forms a small creek then reaches Darwin Harbour through a mangrove lined estuary.
The park is an attractive area close to Darwin for recreational activities. Enjoy a refreshing swim, relax in a cascading rock pool or sit down to a picnic lunch on the idyllic shore. If you swim with goggles you can see many small native fish and other aquatic life that live in the clear pools. The world acclaimed Territory Wildlife Park, nestled in 400 hectares of natural bushland, showcases the wildlife of northern Australia, which you can see up close and in their natural habitats.
