Trip to Jackson Hole Wyoming
Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
This is part of our 2018 roadtrip from Denver to Seattle.
In this episode we visit Grand Tetons National Park.
We did some amazing hike to moose ponds (no moose overthere) and walk around Jenny Lake to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point. From there we took the shuttle boat back. On our way back we saw a big bull moose on the banks of Lake Jenny.
Our second hike in Tetons was the Heron Pond and Swan Lake loop with 2 beautiful lakes. On this hike we had a close bear encounter. A mama black bear with 2 (or 3) cubs. We kept a safe distance!

Traveling Through the Tetons
I finally leave Utah and head north stopping for a few days in the Tetons. It's still quite winter like here and I even experience a snow storm. My campsite is awesome with a full view of the Teton Range. I have a chance to explore the Teton area in search of wildlife to photograph.

2010.06.11 - Lewis & Clark River Expedition
Brother Hill (Meriwether Mary Lewis), Brother Milch (William Bill Clark), Braden Hill (Sacka-Juwan), and London Hill (Baby Wia) made a exploratory trip down the Labyrinth Canyon portion of the Green River to map out the details of the upcoming weeklong rafting trip. We call this the Lewis and Clark Rafting Trip. This small group tested out new rafts, and rafted 68 miles in just two days, down a very high river (24,000 cubic feet per second).

Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon (Hopi: Ongtupqa; Yavapai: Wi:kaʼi:la, Spanish: Gran Cañón), is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in the United States in the state of Arizona. It is contained within and managed by Grand Canyon National Park, the Hualapai Tribal Nation, and the Havasupai Tribe. President Theodore Roosevelt was a major proponent of preservation of the Grand Canyon area, and visited it on numerous occasions to hunt and enjoy the scenery.
The Grand Canyon is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,000 feet or 1,800 meters). Nearly two billion years of Earth's geological history have been exposed as the Colorado River and its tributaries cut their channels through layer after layer of rock while the Colorado Plateau was uplifted. While the specific geologic processes and timing that formed the Grand Canyon are the subject of debate by geologists, recent evidence suggests that the Colorado River established its course through the canyon at least 17 million years ago. Since that time, the Colorado River continued to erode and form the canyon to its present-day configuration.
