Nusa Lembongan has one of the best surfing spots in the Bali area. With waves for beginners but also good surf spots for intermediates and advanced surfers.
Surf the best waves in Bali with Monkey Surfing surf school during a half day surf lesson, take a 3 day surfing course or book your completely arranged surf retreat where everything is already taken care of for you! Monkey surfing surf school is perfect for your water activities. Surf as a beginner at the playgrounds or ride as a pro on lacerations or the shipwrecks. The first beginner lesson always starts with theory about the waves and how to ride them. Then you practice how to handle the surfboard on the beach before you enter the water. You learn the basics : paddling, having a good position on the board, how to stand-up and everything you need to know. Your experienced surf instructor explains the skills, demonstrates and then you practice and he’s here to correct you. A surfing professional is always with you in the water to help and guide you. Each instructor has a maximum of three students so that everyone get’s the personal attention they need and you will get lots of chances to catch waves! Step by step you’ll improve and experience the overwhelming feeling of standing on a surfboard.
For intermediate lessons the practice in the waves of Nusa Lembongan is always personalized with each student. You will learn how your reef break works : currents, points, tides, winds. The instructor always keeps an eye on his students and analyse your stance, technique, body position and wave approach to correct the flaws and improve it. Gradually thanks to these special tips for intermediate surfer you will feel more confident and enjoy the waves of Nusa Lembongan.
