Thai Tour Guides - Personal Tour Guide in Bangkok and Thailand
- Want to hire a personal tour guide in Bangkok or other places in Thailand? All our Thai tour guides are licensed by the official Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
They have been trained, tested and certified by government accredited universities and hold at least a Bachelors degree. Each Bangkok tour guide speaks fluent English, and other languages are available on request.
When you travel around Thailand with a personal tour guide it's kind of like having a local friend who accompanies you to the most interesting places. But other than a friend, our guides have deep expert knowledge and are experienced in bridging the culture gap. Whether you just want to see the most popular sightseeing attractions in Bangkok or go off the beaten track - there are many benefits to hiring your own guide.
Instead of just looking at temples and thinking how lovely the decoration is, a guide can tell you interesting stories about the places you visit, the meaning of certain symbols, give you a cultural and religious background and point out interesting tidbits that other tourists might miss.
And you can communicate and interact with the locals much better because your guide can also function as a private translator - so that you overcome the language barrier.
Plus, getting from one place to the other can be so much more convenient, cheap and effective when you have a tour guide in Thailand - because you don't have to figure everything out yourself in a foreign country.
And our experienced team of travel professionals can help you to plan your trip in advance and design a Thailand itinerary that's just right for you - so that you make the most out of your valuable vacation days in the Land of Smiles.
The Siamese people are known all over the world for their friendly and playful nature, and the same is true for our Thailand tour guides. Politeness and professionalism are our highest priority, but Sanook (a Thai expression for fun) is important too.
If you have a special interest we can find the right Thai tour guide for you - someone who has in-depth expert knowledge in a given subject, for example history, Buddhism, Thai food, Thai silk or other topics. And you can also chose whether you want a male or female tour guide in Bangkok. (But please keep in mind that our guides are hospitality professionals, not escorts).
It's no secret - we love our country. And it's our passion to help you experience the best time in Thailand, so maybe this country, it's culture and people will also find a favorable place in your heart.
We can arrange last-minute guides for you, but we highly recommend that you book as early in advance as possible to insure the best service.
Every year millions of people from many different countries visit Thailand - and a large percentage of them are people who have previously already been here and had such a great time here that they decided to come back again.
There are tropical paradise islands with white sand beaches and turquoise waters, scenic mountain landscapes and hill tribe people in Northern Thailand, where Chiang Mai is a popular tourism hotspot from where most people continue to explore surrounding provinces.
In the south of Thailand there are places like Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phi Phi and Krabi that are very popular with tourists - plus other islands like Ko Tao, which is very popular for scuba diving, and other places. In Bangkok you have attractions like the Grand Palace, the temple of the Emerald Buddha, the temple of the Reclining Buddha, and many other places to see. What's more, if you like Thai food, Bangkok will be like being in heaven - a wide range of foods is available here in all price categories, plus plenty of exotic delicious fruits. As amazing as Bangkok can be - it can also be overwhelming, and having a Bangkok tour guide by your side who can help you to find your way around and point out the most interesting places for you can be of great value.

Bangkok, Thailand Travel Guide: Grand Palace, Chao Phraya River, Wat Pho Tour + AMAZING Thai Food
This is our city guide and a full-day tour of Bangkok during our Thailand Trip. Most of Bangkok's notable historical and cultural sites can be seen in a day or two. We partnered with Thai Tour Guide in a six-hour tour of the city that included the Grand Palace, a private long-boat ride on the Chao Phraya River, Wat Pho and a tasty Thai food lunch.
Our tour guide, Joy and a driver picked us up in a large van to transport us the different sites in a stress-free manner. First, we head to, The Grand Palace, the cities most famous landmark. It is a complex of buildings and has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782. Most tourists come to see Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the famous 14th century Emerald Buddha. This is Thailand's most sacred site, and out of respect, men and women, must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves. Young children are exempt from this rule.
After touring the Grand Palace, we head to the pier close by to take a long-tail boat cruise on the Chao Phraya River. Before boarding, our private boat we pick up delicious Thai ice tea, coffee, and some traditional Thai sweets. The ride from the long-tail boasts beautiful views of the Grand Palace and city skyline before heading to the traditional canals.
After the ride, we grab a quick lunch at the Krua Khun Kung at the Navy Club of Bangkok. Some of the highlights of the meal include a huge mango smoothie, Tom Yong Goong soup, and squid with salty egg.
We then make our way in the air-conditioned van to Wat Pho (Wat Po or The Temple of The Reclining Buddha), a Buddhist temple complex south of the Grand Palace. A must for any first-time visitor to Bangkok, it is famed for its giant reclining Buddha that measures 46 meters long and is completely covered in gold leaf.
The tour also included a visit to Bangkok's Flower Market, but by this time our two batteries were drained from the filming. The market is not be missed either and gives you a glimpse of the importance of flowers in Thai culture.
To learn more about Thai Tour Guide visit: We highly recommend Joy, who was not only extremely knowledgable but compassionate and accommodating to our special needs as a family with three young children.

Bangkok Private Tour Guide Grand Palace Free for Subscriber
A few weeks ago, Jamie, a subscriber from Colorado USA contacted Ta and I to say that she was coming to Thailand and would we mind showing her around Bangkok. We took a few seconds to think about it and then responded by saying “of course we can, when do you arrive?”
We told Jamie that we were in no way professional tour guides and so we wouldn’t accept any money from her for our trouble. But we did say that we would appreciate being fed when we got hungry. Haha
Jamie also surprised us with a gift of our first International couple shirts. 2 very nice t-shirts promoting Colorado. An extremely jaidee and unexpected present.
We hope that you enjoyed watching this video.

Klong Mahasawat AGRICULTURAL TOUR
Klong means 'Canal'
Mahasawat canal was made in 1859-1860 for the irrigation for the farmlands and transportation to Bangkok.
Agricultural Tour was started over 20 years ago by the headquarters of this local villages, at first the main purpose to show Thais, a group of students, etc to learn about local lifestyle of this community. Nowadays this tour is also well known to tourists who are looking for 'get off the beaten path' activities.
Take a long tail boat to do 4 highlight activities
1) Take paddle boat in the biggest lotus flower farm.
2) Ride farm truck to see the fruit farms and rice fields.
3) Learn how to make rice crispy cracker.
4) Visit the largest orchid farm.
Before all activities start, enjoy feed bread to massive catfish in the canal. Then take a long tail boat ride to do all 4 activities, each platform takes 5 - 15 minutes by boat.
1) Take paddle boat in the biggest lotus flower farm. Every other day, the owner of the farm will collect 1000-1500 lotus flowers and sell to Flower Market in Bangkok. Lotus flower means the purification of the lord buddha teaching. As more than 90% of Thais are Buddhists, hence Thais use all flowers specific lotus flower as an offering to Buddhist temples.
2) Ride farm truck to see the fruit farms and rice fields. The owner of the farm would ride his man-made farm truck 10 minutes to show you his farms where he usually picks up all of his products by using this truck. These amazing green farms have so many kinds of fruits such as pomelo (grapefruit), banana, mangoes, jackfruits, and other seasonal fruits. Most of my customers are amazing how he rides his farm truck especially the way how he turns left or turns right with his special skills and experiences.
3) Learn how to make rice crispy cracker. One of the well-known product of this local community is a rice cracker. Thais love snacking all day and rice cracker is our favorite and we can keep it for 2 months. You will learn how to make the dry rice cracker, deep fried with the delicious sauce recipe and topping with sasame seeds and shredded pork.
4) Visit the largest orchid farm. One of the top export product is the orchid flower. Because we have strong humidity, we can grow orchid very easily and very cheap price. You will surprise how inexpensive of our orchids are, that why Thais use orchid and other flowers as an offering to temples and spirit house daily.
The total 4 activities may take 2 - 2.30 hours depending on the group size.
