International Women's Day Event at Sporting Edge
To celebrate International Women's Day 4CT hosted a day of women only activities at the new Sporting Edge complex in Openshaw.
A number of women and girls attended the event and had an opportunity to try their hand at a number of activities including Tai Chi, Basketball, Football, Indoor Bowling and much more.
After lunch the hall was cleared to make way for a Salsa Dance demonstration and for those who wanted to relax there were manicures and massages.
A great day was had by all!
I chatted to Doreen, Norma, Beryl and Marie to find out what they had enjoyed about the day!
Reflections - Brook Meadow, Emsworth
A video taken on a couple of bright early spring mornings (March 2012) of some of the Birdlife (Great Tit, Blue Tit, Robin, Mallard, Wren, Water Rail, Treecreeper and Nuthatch) around the small local nature reserve of Brook Meadow in Emsworth, Hampshire. I hope this video gives you a taster of this tranquil and beautiful place. If you have a spare hour, then Brook Meadow is a great little oasis in which to get a way from it all. Please feel free to post any comments. And, while you are here, check out some of my other videos. If you are interested in the local area, then watch my Incoming Tide video on the nearby Emsworth Harbour.
