Thailand Railway Market I Mae Klong Railway Market Near Bangkok I Hindi Video
#maeklongrailwaymarket #Thailand
On our recent trip to Thailand, we went to see that famous railway market which is being made more popular around the world by the viral videos of it.
In Samut Songkhram, about an hour outside Bangkok, is Maeklong Railway Market, one of the largest produce and seafood markets in Thailand. But beyond the selection of fresh fruit and fish, the market has become infamous for one thing—the train that runs directly through it. In 1905, the Maeklong Railway built a commuter train line through the center of the popular market. But rather than move, the vendors adapted to the new conditions, working around the train that passes through eight times a day, seven days a week.

The COMPLETE Bangkok Transport Guide 2019 (Co van Kessel)
The COMPLETE Bangkok Transport Guide 2018 (Co van Kessel)
In this video we will give a short summery of all the main transportation options in Bangkok. Including the Taxi, Tuk Tuk, BTS, MRT, Airport Rail Link and the Chao Phraya Express boat.
If you want to move around like a local, use the public transportation. But when do you use which option? We are here to give you a better idea of the several options in Bangkok, Thailand.
We did not include all options in Bangkok, but only the main ones used by tourists.
*
Looking for an authentic and unique adventure? Co van Kessel bike tours and boat tours provides a refreshing alternative to the tired tourist experience. We do not battle the crowds at clichéd destinations promoted in guide books, but turn your attention to quaint local communities and charming excursions into the fascinating lifestyle and culture of real Thai people. Every day is different and every tour is a surprise as we focus not on destinations, but lose ourselves in the enchantment of the journey itself.
Co van Kessel, an innovative and adventurous Dutchman, pioneered bicycle tours in Bangkok more than 30 years ago. As a longtime resident and self-professed lover of Bangkok, he understood very well the picture of accelerated urban development (gridlocked traffic, concrete towers, and choking pollution) that has plagued the recent image of the city. He also had a hunch that this was not what Bangkok or Thailand was all about.
Making it his goal to re-discover Bangkok, Co spent thousands of hours on his mountain bike exploring the vast network of local streets, alleyways, footpaths and canals between the main urban thoroughfares. What he found, lurking behind the facade of modernization, were hidden worlds of peace and tranquility, a picture of “real” Thai life that has remained unchanged for countless decades; an identity of a city that is true to the Thai people, yet largely unknown to outsiders.
Whether it’s the colorful sights and smells of the local markets, the fascinating life of locals along the canals, or the surprising existence of bountiful green belts, Co discovered the essence of what makes Bangkok one of Asia’s most captivating cities. Since then, it has been his mission to share these discoveries with the rest of the world.
What we do
Our mission at Co van Kessel Bangkok Tours is to provide our guests with a singularly unique travel experience in Thailand. All our tours use Co’s extensive topographical knowledge of the greater Bangkok area as well as his keen eye for the interesting to take you where nobody else can or will.
We aim not to bore you with talk, but to immerse you in an experience where your individual fascinations emerge.
Bicycles, boats, and our feet become the tools we use to gain access to the previously inaccessible, behind-the-scenes lifestyle of the Thai. Here the roots of an ancient culture will become evident in a way you never could have imagined.

Train Ride in Thailand from Chiang Mai to Bangkok Travel Video: Thai Railways การรถไฟแห่งประเทศไทย
This is a travel video where we showcases our train ride from Chiang Mai to Bangkok, Thailand on a sleeper berth 14 hour journey. This is one of the many train rides we hope to take while basing ourselves in Chiang Mai for several months. When faced with the decision of spending less money on a bus ticket or taking a train, we often splurge a little for the comfort of a train ride; personally, I find the swerving, honking and cramped seats of a bus in Thailand a less than stellar option.

As we boarded we couldn't help but notice the train was nearly empty; ironically, the first travel agent we visited to purchase a ticket told us it had been sold out. These kinds of dodgy operators are unfortunately far too prevalent in Chiang Mai. If you ever encounter somebody giving you advice that doesn't seem legit we recommend visiting at least several places before making an informed decision. The lady trying to sell us a ticket informed us that ALL of the trains had sold out - aside from a lower class sitting compartment - that arrived in Bangkok at some ungodly hour in the morning. She then proceeded to try and sell us a bus ticket that would have been twice the going rate for an overnight trip. As an experienced traveler, I could see through her attempts to rip me off; however, I truly wonder how many younger backpackers, embarking upon their first trip overseas, she's been able to fool.
The entire experience of taking an overnight train in Thailand certainly trumps taking a bus in terms of facilities and creature comforts. Being able to sit down in the dining cart people watching and listening to karaoke on movies was one of the top highlights. One particular man had an entire bottle of whiskey and a massive plate of food in front of him that he was gorging on nearly non-stop.
As we looked out the window the refreshing breeze tossed our hair to the side as rural sections of farmland gave way to urban activity.
The sleeper berth itself was very cozy with a mattress and pillow provided. We both found the rocking back and forth motion of the train conducive to a good nights sleep.
When we woke up in Bangkok we felt refreshed and excited to be visiting the city together as a couple for the first time. We're in Bangkok for a few days to attend a big digital and travel conference in the Silom area of Bangkok. We'll be put up at the Pullman Bangkok G Hotel for several days while attending various sessions related to travel, travel blogging and working with major brands. It's an exciting time for us because we're trying our best to transition from teachers in South Korea to digital nomads on the road. We hope to meet and partner with a lot of different tourism boards and brands - including Bhutan and Air New Zealand - who plan on being there:

KUALA LUMPUR TO BANGKOK BY TRAIN - 24HOURS JOURNEY
24 HOURS JOURNEY KUL - BANGKOK
KL - PADANG BESAR | ETS GOLD - RM76.00 | Journey : 6.5 hours
So..Dari KL kitorg naik train kt KL Sentral ke Padang Besar. Sepatutnya journey lebih kurang dlm 5 jam 45 minit. Tapi kitorg delay dlm setengah jam sbb ada train lain yg rosak. So kitorg sampai lebih kurang jam 1.30 tghari kat Stesyen KTM Padang Besar di Platform 1.
TIPS : Sila la bawa bekalan makanan utk mkn dlm train tu. Sbb dia mmg ada cafe..korg bole beli nasi dagang..mee hun goreng..mcm2 la (but dont out too much hope on the taste la ????)..even tasteless tp makanan cpt habis.. sbb journey 6 jam tu apa je korg bole buat selain makan? Hahaha..so bawala bekalan secukupnya..
---------------------------------------------------
PADANG BESAR - HATYAI | Special Train - 50 THB | Journey : 1 hour
Ada few cara dari border padang besar ke hatyai. Korg bole pilih naik special train, van or taxi. So mcm kitorg..kitorg mmg plan nak naik this special train dari stesen KTM Padang besar ke Hatyai Junction. This train cuma ada 2 waktu je..jam 9.55 pagi dgn 3.40 ptg (waktu malaysia). Tiket korg bole beli kat kaunter di Platform 2. Lps je korg sampai dari KL..Terus pergi kat platform 2 utk pembelian tiket. Kaunter utk train jam 9.55 pagi dibuka pada jam 9 pagi dan utk train jam 3.40 ptg kaunter dibuka jam 2.30 ptg. Tiket mmg tk bole beli online atau beli awal. Sbb lps korg beli tiket tu korg akan terus lalu kat imigresen Malaysia & Thailand
So my advice sila plan time journey korg. Kalau nak naik train pagi sila amek last train dari KL yg malam.. Maybe yg jam 11.30 tghmlm. Kalau nak naik yg jam 3.40 ptg..bole naik train yg jam 7.00 pagi. Incase you missed the train. Jgn risau. Ada byk van2 putih yg ada utk korg naik. Tinggal pilih je ????
TIPS : Sila pastikan ada kipas tgn. Sbb special train ni no aircond. Mmg kipas oldskool. Dan harap kan angin dari luar. Tapi skali train tu stop tiada lagi angin dari luar. Masa tu mmg harapkan kipas tgn. Tapi baru la feeling naik train oldskool ni kan. Mmg feeling hindustan la ????
----------------------------------------------------
HATYAI - BANGKOK | SE TRAIN 32 - 1794THB (LOWER BED), 1594 (UPPER BED)| Journey : 16 hours
Ada 3 jenis seat utk Special Express Train..1st class, 2nd class, 3rd class. Beza dia? Harga dan keselesaan. Sebenarnya 2nd class pun dh ok. But pls dont opt for 3 class. Patah pinggang weh. 16 jam punya perjalanan takkan la korg nak duduk je kn? So kitorg pilih utk 1st class seat. Sbb nya kitorg nak privacy (nad malas nak pakai tudung time tidur) dan pasal safety gak. Dan juga sbb mudah utk time nak solat. Space utk solat tu mmg ngam2 sgt.
Sbb nad dh terkena sekali. Punya yakin igt dh settle pasal tiket. Skali easybook kata seat dh full. So diorg akan refund. Tapi nya nk tunggu dia refund lama weh ????
Kitorg pilih utk naik SE train 32 yg berlepas jam 6.45 ptg (waktu thai) satu sbb kitorg nak tido sepanjang perjalanan..kalau siang 16 jam dlm train tepu otak. So sampai esok pagi nya bole dpt full day kt bangkok dan lagi satu sbb ni train diorg yg paling baru ???? so everything is new. Igt tau special express 32
Kalau korg travel solo tapi nak naik 1st class dan tk nak share dgn org lain. Boleh je..harga nya 2594THB
TIPS : Kt Hatyai Junction (train station hatyai) ada kedai makanan halal. Nasi goreng dia sedap. So tapau siap2 makananan utk makan dlm train. Yes dia ada cafe. Tapi dia ada serve ????..hehehe..sis tak berapa nak yakin la ????
EXPENSES UTK TRANSPORT (for 2 pax)
1. KL - Padang Besar = RM76.00 x 2 = RM152
2. Padang Besar - Hatyai - Bangkok = 50 +50 + 1794 + 1594 = 3488THB @ 0.14 (current exchange rate) = RM488.32
TOTAL KL - BANGKOK = RM640.32 (for 2 pax)
So korg enjoy tgk video ni. Any comment sgt2 la dialukan. Kalau ada nak tanya soalan pun bole. Jgn lupa LIKE & SUBSCRIBE to our channel ❤

Chiang Mai to Bangkok Overnight Train, Second Class Sleeper
Travel from Chiang Mai to Bangkok and Bangkok to Chiang Mai by overnight train! Tour of the second class sleeper. My first overnight train experience and Thailand did not disappoint! This is a cheaper travel alternative to flying in Thailand and can save you a night of accommodations. Would you ride this train?

Hi everyone! The overnight sleeper train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok and vice versa have a variety of seat options. You can get a second class sleeper like the one shown in the video or 1st class sleeper which is a private room. There's also an even cheaper second class fan option. After that you can get a non-sleeper train seat for 300-600 baht, that's only $9-24 to travel across Thailand.
Of course during off season a flight from Chiang Mai to Bangkok can range from $18-24 and takes only an hour and a half. Hahah, the train travel method is getting a little outdated but during the holidays when plane tickets jump to $50 - this is a great way to travel! Include 1 one night of hostel/hotel fee and the train sounds like a better deal for sure.
Help give the video a thumbs up! Appreciate you, sending love positive vibes your way!

Epic Train Ride From Bangkok, Thailand To Cambodia!
Want to experience one of the best train rides ever? Check out our journey from Bangkok, Thailand to the Cambodian border in the video here:
This video is a throwback from December of 2012. We wanted to know how to travel Thailand in a spectacular way. We heard bus was the best way for the journey. Although, when going to the Cambodian border, we heard that travel by train was the most spectacular option. Our schedule made us book our trip way too early in the morning. We enjoyed our coffee at the train station. Then we boarded our train only to find that the fan was not working. We had our doubts about traveling by train. The train departed the station just before dawn. Fortunately, the fans worked once the train moved. As the sunrise began, we learned very fast how epic this train ride would be. We took in the countryside views. We also enjoyed accompanying the locals on the train and watching their routines. After taking in the view for a while, I began to explore this massive machine. I walked in between cars and hung outside of doorways. None of this was very safe. Although, I tried to be as safe as I could be as I took in the memories. Looking back on this ride, it became almost more memorable than the destinations themselves! We also highly recommend traveling by train on this route for your own journey!

A Thai train journey: Chiang Mai to Bangkok
Train #12 is a twelve hour long daylight journey from Chiang Mai in northern Thailand to the capital city of Bangkok (well, twelve hours if everything runs on schedule.) This video shows some scenes from Chiang Mai and Bangkok railway stations, together with some views through the dirty windows of the train carriage. The cost of my second class ticket (the only class of service on this particular train) was 641 Thai Baht (about $20 US,) a bargain if you have the time and patience to spend a day on a train. (To get an idea of what the overnight journey on this route is like, take a look at Sheila Simkin's video at )
THAILAND VLOG - 12 Hours Train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai
After spending a night in Bangkok, I woke up early the next day leaving the hostel and heading to Hua Lamphong railway station. The 2nd class ticket cost 641 Bath features air conditioned train with reclining seat, including set of lunch and 2 times of snack.
The journey was very much enjoyable as so many beautiful scenery accompany me along the way.
Enjoy and thanks so much for watching! xo-Syifa

BANGKOK TO AYUTTHAYA BY TRAIN | Thailand travel vlog
We spent the morning on an awesome local train from Bangkok to Ayutthaya in 3rd class. It was wicked to experience it with the locals and see a bit of the Thai countryside.
The train departed Hua Lamphong Station and arrived at Ayutthaya Railway Station station in 2 hours. For 15 THB we thought it was a bargain.
