The Vervet Forest - Episode 30 - Orphan baby Vervet monkey Pyewacket moves to Gismo intro enclosure with baby monkeys Benjamin and Dylan to meet his new foster monkey moms. Trisha & Jeffrey move to a DnD intro enclosure to meet the troop through the fence and they are joined by a new ex-pet orphan monkey named Conjo who is obsessed with playing with people. Janet moves from Disneyland to a Skrow troop intro enclosure and meets her first foster mom Polar and babysitter Buffy. Maggie in the Engeltjie intro enclosure meets her first foster mom Jesse and Jesse's adopted monkey son Theo. Theo is an adorable monkey who has been sick many times and his growth is stunted but he and Maggie develop the best animal friendship. Trisha then develops a thrush infection and she and cute baby monkeys Conjo and Jeffrey are moved back to the baby cabin for quarantine.

Vervet Monkeys Fight When New Orphan Baby Monkey Meets Foster Mom - Ep. 31
The Vervet Forest - Episode 31 - Conjo joins Merlin and Timothy in DnD and the Bandits monkeys fight through the fence. Trisha and Jeffrey move back to Disneyland and they are joined by a new female orphaned baby Vervet monkey named Crystal. Pyewacket, Benjamin and Dylan all get an update. Maggie joins in her foster moms and new family in the Engeltjie troop main enclosure. Saav monkey babies Norah and Shemesh are taken into the troop a few weeks early by foster mom monkeys Holly and Priya and the staff have to get them back into the intro enclosure. We receive a new ex-pet named Kobe who is an adorable animal.

Vondo Dam Run - E15
Today's video was shot at the Thathe Vondo Dan located on the Mutshindudi Vondo Village which is Nevondo Royal House near Sibasa, Limpopo. The dam serves mainly for irrigation purposes.
The view of this place is mind blowing, you see the dam and luscious greenery, courtesy of the fertile soil, in the background stretching over the mountain hill.
I ran the morning after it had rained so the banks were very slippery, I literally bit the dust (well in this case mud) a couple of times. Wasn't funny when it happened, but quite hilarious when viewing the footage, so if you were to run here I would suggest it be when the place is bone dry. Other than that I really enjoyed the run and seeing nature showing off.

According to Venda legend the lake was created when a passing leper was refused food and shelter. He cursed the kraal which disappeared below the waters of the newly formed lake and the Venda claim that in the early morning it is possible to hear the sound of drums and the cries and bellowing of the drowned people and cattle. [2]
Legend also believes that Lake Fundudzi is protected by a python god living in the mountain. The Venda pay homage to this god by annually performing a puberty dance, characterised by the sinuous swaying and writhing of a conga line, in which adolescent girls of the tribe take part. The fullness of the lake and its colour are said to reflect the temper of the ancestors, and the possibility of rain.
