Williamstown, Australia (Aerial Drone FHD)
A maritime village located just 9km from Melbourne. Williamstown’s history is evident in its heritage buildings and streetscapes although some of that history has been lost, as buildings were demolished to make way for new development. In the 1950s, the historic Langhorne bluestone wool store in Nelson Place was demolished by the former Housing Commission of Victoria.

Williamstown Melbourne Australia | Steadicam Walking Tour
Walk down the picturesque main street of Williamstown, Nelson Place.
Williamstown is located at the mouth of the Yarra River where it enters Hobsons Bay and Port Phillip Bay, south-west of the Melbourne city centre.
Originally Melbourne's first sea port, Williamstown has developed from what was a neglected industrialised centre into a popular and fashionable maritime village.
Williamstown's attractive main commercial precinct is located along Ferguson Street and Douglas Parade. Around the corner in Nelson Place is what was originally the town centre, lined with historic buildings which are now restaurants, hotels and galleries.

Trailer Sailing Melbourne to Queenscliff
Music:
Kevin MacLeod, incomptech.com - “Pride”, “There is Romance”, “Water Droplets on the River”.
Trailer sailing Neringa my RL28 across Port Phillip Bay from Williamstown in Melbourne to Queenscliff. Gentle conditions with a mixture of sailing, motor sailing and motoring. Queenscliff harbour is a great place with a marina, an all weather anchorage with public moorings, many shops and services at the marina and the nearby town centre. A great place to walk and explore with the historic pier, railway and buildings in the town. Edwards Point at the entrance to swan bay is an hours sail to the north and provides a truly beautiful place for an overnight stay. I have included instructions and some aerial footage of how to use this anchorage. The return sail saw Neringa reach speeds of 7 knots before the wind died leaving the bay glassy and mirror like.
