I took a trip to Brighton beach with my cousins and other family members.
This was a good day.
I tried to record as much footage as possible. I hope you guys enjoy it.

The Garden bankes are full of gay flowers, and the Thorne and the Plumme send forth their faire Blossomes:
The March Colt begins to play, and the Cosset Lamb is learned to butt.
The Poets now make their studies in the woods, & the Youth of the Country make ready for the Morris-dance;
The little Fishes lye nibling at a bait, and the Porpas playes in the pride of the tide.

The Shepheardes pipe entertaines the Princesse of Arcadia, and the healthfull Souldier hath a pleasant march.
The Larke and the Lambe looke up at the Sun, and the labourer is abroad by the dawning of the day:
Sheepes eyes in Lambs heads, tell kind hearts strange tales, while faith and troth make the true Lovers knot:
The aged haires find a fresh life, and the youthfull cheeks are as red as a cherry:
It were a world to set downe the worth of this moneth:
But in summe, I thus conclude, I hold it the Heavens blessing, and the Earths comfort.

A packed Margate beach. A woman and family on deckchairs. A girl dives head first into a deckchair. Promenade with people cross the road and a policeman on duty. Beach scene and family near a sweet stall. Street scene with flags on buildings and cars passing. People sant on a bench on the promenade. Two young women in hats pass. Sign for 'Premier Margate rock displayed on shelves for sale 2d or 6 a 1/- lettered right through'. Seller of Berry's firmer ices, serving ice cream cones. A magazine stall, a woman uses a feather duster around the stall. Women stand in street powdering their noses. Swimming Pool with bathers playing with a huge blow up ball with lettering 'Sunday Dispatch', and others with a smaller ball in the water. Really busy beach scene, people and puschairs. On a building a sign for 'Gypsy Lee', 'Margate Rock' and a shop front. Close up of people on the beach. People on promenade sit watching entertainment with clown. A bed and breakfast house 'Cosy Dining Rooms, Dinner/tea/supper, Trays for sands, Early morning cup of tea'. A woman is buried in sand with her family using spades to cover her. A Punch and Judy Show with children seated watching. More beach scenes. A man preaching the word of god, two other men hold banner and sandwich board 'Christ died for the ungodly'. A Shoe Shine (? And Martins) polishing someones shoes. A car registration no YK5739 parked on the road and a policeman approaches the driver. Beach Huts with ladders.

The Incredible Story of How 602 People Died in the Worst Fire in U.S. History (2003)

The Iroquois Theatre was at 24–28 West Randolph Street, between State Street and Dearborn Street, in Chicago. About the book:

The syndicate that bankrolled its construction chose the location specifically to attract women on day trips from out of town who, it was thought, would be more comfortable attending a theater near the safe, police-patrolled Loop shopping district.[2] The theater opened in November 1903 after numerous delays due to labor unrest[3] and, according to one writer,[4] the unexplained inability of architect Benjamin Marshall to complete required drawings on time. Upon opening it was lauded by drama critics; Walter K. Hill wrote in the New York Clipper (a predecessor of Variety) that the Iroquois was the most beautiful ... in Chicago, and competent judges state that few theaters in America can rival its architectural perfections ...[5]

The Iroquois had a capacity of 1,602 with three audience levels. The main floor, known as the orchestra or parquet, had approximately 700 seats on the same level as the foyer and Grand Stair Hall. The second level, the dress circle or [first] balcony, had more than 400 seats. The third level, the gallery, had about 500 seats. There were four boxes on the first level and two above.[6]

Everyone used the same entrance, and the broad stairs leading off the foyer to the balcony level were also used to reach the stairs to the gallery level. Theater designers claimed this allowed patrons to see and be seen regardless of the price of their seats. But the common stairway ignored Chicago fire ordinances that required separate stairways and exits for each balcony. The design proved disastrous, as people exiting the gallery encountered a crowd leaving the balcony level, and those descending from the upper levels met the orchestra level patrons in the foyer.[7]

The backstage areas were unusually large, with dressing rooms on five levels, an uncommonly large fly gallery (where scenery was hung), and even an elevator available to transport actors down to the stage level.

Despite being billed as Absolutely Fireproof in advertisements and playbills,[8] numerous deficiencies in fire readiness were apparent:

An editor of Fireproof Magazine toured the building during construction and noted the absence of an intake, or stage draft shaft; the exposed reinforcement of the (proscenium) arch;[9] the presence of wood trim on everything and the inadequate provision of exits.[10]
A Chicago Fire Department captain who made an unofficial tour of the theater days before the official opening noted that there were no sprinklers, alarms, telephones, or water connections. The captain pointed out the deficiencies to the theater's fire warden but was told that nothing could be done, as the fire warden would simply be dismissed if he brought the matter up with the syndicate of owners. When the captain reported the matter to his commanding officer, he was again told that nothing could be done, as the theater already had a fire warden.[11]
The onsite firefighting equipment consisted of six Kilfyre extinguishers. Kilfyre was a form of dry chemical fire extinguisher also sold for dousing chimney fires in residential houses. It consisted of a 2 × 24 tube of tin filled with about three pounds of white powder, mostly sodium bicarbonate. The user was instructed to forcibly hurl the contents of the tube at the base of the flames. The fire began high above the stage, so the Kilfyre, when thrown, fell uselessly to the ground.

The Diary of a Nobody is the fictitious record of fifteen months in the life of Charles Pooter, his family, friends and small circle of acquaintances. It first appeared, serialised in Punch magazine and might be regarded as the first ‘blog’; being a record of the simplicities and humiliations in the life of this mundane, but upright, city clerk, who had an incontestable faith that a record of his daily life was worth preserving for posterity.
Set in about 1891 in Holloway, which was then a typical suburb of the impecuniously respectable kind, the authors contrive a record of the manners, customs and experiences of the late Victorian era. The bare record of facts, simply recorded, manages to be humorous rather than dull, no doubt because of the usual occupations of the authors.
George Grossmith (1847-1912) was an actor and comedian.
Weedon Grossmith (1852-1919) was an entertainer and illustrated the original work.
